Ah we loved it! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome - we’re so glad we came back too! To be fair - the Parkrun team were lovely both times 🙌🏻😉
I have only done this one once. It was a cold, crisp, clear, still winters day and the coastal views were absolutely stunning. I loved it! I'd like to do it again but I think choosing the right kind of day, weather-wise, is critical! By the way, the photo that was taken of you at 11:20 is so lovely! Two radiant parkrunners :)
Well done folks!! A few things ..... 1. Chris sounded so Geordie when he said "me socks" haha. We'll make a Geordie out of him yet mind haha 2. Queen of the sock wetters?? hahaha. made me giggle. 3. Great running 4. Lovely photo! Lush! 5. Does Chris always let you finish first Kayleigh? Love it, such a gentleman! Hopefully see yous soon. Give the dog a cuddle for me 🙂
Haha thank mate! 1 Chris will hate being called a Geordie 😂 2 That’s me 👸 3 Thank you 💙 and for the support! 4 You’re very kind haha 😂 5 He can’t catch me 🤣 (total lies!) Yep, that would be nice 😃. Jay-Jay says thanks for the cuddle 🐶
Glad you had a better experience this time even though the conditions seemed pretty grim. I seem to recall you all running that race and Chris has bathroom issues. I bet that area is really nice in the summer though and I imagine the waterfront properties cost a fortune as well. Our race season gets really quiet this time of year and doesn't really pick up until almost March. Not many winter races in Utah unless you are willing to travel south. Enjoyed the video and love watching your adventures.
Hey Eddie! Yes, it was much better than the last time we ran it, but you’re right, the weather was pretty grim! Well spotted, the Great North Run does finish here too, although this was just a Saturday morning Parkrun rather than the 13.1 mile race! It’s lovely in the summer, for walking and running, but on a windy day in the winter it’s a struggle! You’re right about the properties too - beautiful houses on the seafront but quite expensive! Road race season is much quieter here too, we’re in trail and cross country season here, but we’re blessed to have so many Parkruns to choose from! So glad you’re enjoying the videos and thanks as always for the support 😃
Surely that wasn't safe? I wonder what it takes for a postponement? You might as well have run in the sea! Great video though, it's on my list to do when the weather improves
It wasn’t too bad - just a bit soggy! 😉 so glad you enjoyed the video - thanks so much for watching! It’s definitely a nice one if you get the weather 🙌🏻
I was RD this day, I’m so pleased you gave our parkrun a second chance! 😀

I ran this one ten years ago, and my memory was that it was fast and enjoyable….looked up the route…and it was the exact reverse of what it is now 😂
Haha that’ll be why then!! 😂 thanks for watching! 😃

Great video. Well done guys
Thank you Gordon! Hoping to bring you one soon that isn’t as soggy 😂
Oh no what bad weather conditions, it's crazy humid and hot here in sunny Queensland, Australia.
Haha we’re used to it here! But that sounds pretty awful for running too 🥵. Thanks for watching! 😃
I ran this today. Still loads of sand on the path. Got up the hill ok. Took a tumble on the coast line path at 2.5k!! But finished it
Aw Chris - hope you’re okay!!! Well done on finishing it after a fall - hope it wasn’t too soggy! 🙌🏻 thanks for watching! 😃
That cheater may well of been me 😂, great video 👏
