2000 Mercedes Benz 500 SL Supercharged
This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500 has 67k miles and was sold new in California before moving to Washington in 2003 and then back to California before ending up in Florida
Finished in Designo silver with gray leather the car is super clean inside and out presenting more like a 20k mile car rather than the 67k miles shown on the cluster. Paint is in phenomenal shape and has been garage kept since and babied since new. The factory hardtop looks in good shape and the grey soft top has clear plastic windows and does not show any tears or flaws in the pictures provided.
In May 2006 at 40,825 miles, the 5.0 liter V8 was fitted with a supercharger and intercooler by Mercedes-Benz of Seattle as part of a Kleemann Performance Package at a cost of $15,562.61. Additional modifications includes Bilstein suspension, staggered 19″ TSW wheels, Akebono brake pads, cross-drilled rotors, and braided stainless steel brake lines. The factory wheels will be included along with service records dating back to 2005 that cover the supercharger installation.
The car drives like a brand new Mercedes of the era. The supercharged V8 produces 500Horsepower and pulls really nice and more importantly shifts smooth through the 5 speed automatic gearbox. Braking has been upgraded with Akebono brake pads, cross-drilled rotors, and braided stainless steel brake lines.
This SL500 comes with a factory hardtop, accident-free Carfax, and a clean title.
You will be hard pressed to find a better R129 example then this one.
