Greate memories from Leiden , ik heb daar 15 jaar gewoond ! . Ik heb in de haarlemstraat gewoond midden in het centrum . Fantastisch filmpje echt 👍🇳🇱🇪🇬
This takes "travel like the locals" to a whole different level. But virtually of course. Great video and I love it how it feels like I'm there. Thanks for the tour!
Thank u for this video... I was born in leiden but grew up here in the philippines and in the future I want to be back in leiden where I should be living . .thank you for this video ..Godbless
My city. If you come back you should go to the Morspoort (you were very close in the beginning) there is a small windmill "molen de put" and the Rembrandtbridge if you follow that path you will be at the rembrandtplein where you see a statue of the painter Rembrandt. You should also go to Rapenburg it's been mentioned that it's the most beautiful canal of Leiden. Also go to the Zijlpoort. If you walk a straight line from Morspoort then you eventually reach the Zijlpoort. It's near a cute little harbour. And don't forget Pieterskerk quarter. And I also recommend for next time the singelpark route. It's a canalpark route, where they attached all the parks in the city centre together. It's a circle and approx 6.5 km in total. You see parks, canals, old and new bridges, old buildings, museums (like Molen de Valk windmill you showed us) and meanwhile learn about the history. And if you are tired there's a lot of eating and drinking options cause you're in the city centre (but due to Covid-19 you can only taje away). But I highly recommend this for a next time!
I could not live that kind of life. Walking or riding a bicycle or scooter everywhere in the freezing cold or rain. Such poor people. I am a spoiled American.
@@nova_verse6284 I lived in freezing weather for 24 years when I was very young. Now I am very old. I live in south florida with all the other Old people. I love to wear shorts and short sleeve T-shirts riding my honda goldwing 1500. I am retired from Forestry fire fighting and a U.S. Navy vet. So if am I wuss, then you are....gay/queer/ lover of men. 🤣 Living in your mommy's basement.
How long ago were you there or are you still in the country? Where is your walking partner? I have not seen her recently in your reflections. I wish I could travel like you all over Europe.
Wow Dutch people are so tall ! It seems that 190cm or above man are just around the corner. Maybe I'm super short in Netherland, 173cm Japanese though.
I am happy you made it to the windmill. I was hoping that you would go inside. Thanks.

So many store front adverts in English. That is strange. I am sorry you are alone anymore. I hope you get back together again. It's sad to be lonely.
Oh it’s ok. I’m not alone. Heheh I’ve just been doing the walk alone.
You know Amin
