@@freddiefryer7185 yes. If your sole purpose to come to Saudi Arabia is to perform umrah then you should put on Ahram before landing in Jeddah. The airline crew will tell you when the plane is close to miqaat to put on your ahram. Remember, when you put on Ahram then you have to go directly to the Haram and perform Umrah. But if you are arriving in Saudi Arabia to meet your family or for the visit you don’t have to be in Ahram. You can go to your hotel, meet your family and take some rest and then you can go to Masjid Aisha, clean yourself by taking a shower cut off your unnecessary hairs and pray two rakah at the masjid for the intention of Umrah and then head to the Haram to perform Umrah. I hope this will clear some questions about Ahram. Thank you for watching my video. Please consider subscribing my channel for more informative videos. Thanks again for your time and support.

Thank you for the video. Just out of curiosity: You travelled to Jeddah, which is inside the miqat zone, and proceeded to Makkah Mukarramah. Where did you enter your state of ihram for umrah? You don't appear to be in ihram.

I hope I answered your question. Please consider subscribing my channel for more information and updates . Thanks
@@hilifetravel8764 In that case, you would have violated the sanctity of the miqat (i.e., by entering the miqat without being in a state of ihram). Masjid 'A'ishah in Tan'im (Makkah) is not the miqat - it is just outside the Haram zone. That's where you would have gone to enter ihram for any additional umrahs, after your first umrah. If you have left and are back home in the USA, you will have to give the penalty of a dam for the violation. Please consult with 'ulama. The same may apply to the lady with you.

Thank you for your compliment on my video. You can perform Umrah on a tourist visa as well. Hi. I have two questions. I saw that you were nice enough to reply to everyone so I thought I should ask. First I booked through Saudi airlines and did not apply for the visa when I was booking. I know that I will be eligible for free transit visa as I am staying for 3 days. But since I didnt apply for it, I will need to ask for it when I reach. So will that be visa on arrival and I will not be able to avail the free transit visa offer? Second how long is the queue for the visa on arrival. How many desks there? How long do you think it will gake the 3 of us to get visas?
Thank you for your question. Since you are staying for three days in my opinion it will be considered as a visa on arrival because a transit visa is usually for 24 to 48 hours. But you can always ask the immigration officer at the counter. Once again thank you for your question and thank you for watching my video. I am planning a trip with different airlines (Budapest - Jeddah, Wizz air) and (Jeddah - Bangalore, Saudia airlines) I will not have a single ticket but will have two tickets, hand luggage and a boarding pass of Saudia airlines and probably arrival and departure will take place at different terminals . I will not buy a visa in Saudi Arabia. Is it possible to travel through the transit corridor without a visa? That is, I can board a Saudia airlines plane in Jeddah?
As long as you don’t have any checked bags than you can use the transfer passengers area and then go to the respective gate of the Saudi Arabian Airlines. Both of the airlines comes and depart from the same terminal which is Jeddah airport terminal 1.

No. There are few terminals just before the immigration counters on the left hand side you have to scan your passport fill out the details on the screen and it takes your picture and pay the fees. If you have any problems with the terminal right next to the terminals there is visa on arrival counter where there are immigration officials who can help you with the process. In that case, you would have violated the sanctity of the miqat (i.e., by entering the miqat without being in a state of ihram). Masjid 'A'ishah in Tan'im (Makkah) is not the miqat - it is just outside the Haram zone. That's where you would have gone to enter ihram for any additional umrahs, after your first umrah. David, first of all thank you so much for watching my video. To answer your question the cisa fee is equivalent to 75 Dollars and it is valid for one year with multiple entries. So in my humble opinion it is not that expensive because you can visit the country many times. There is another option if you are planning to travel to another country than you can have layover in Jeddah or any other city of Saudi Arabia and can get the transit visa. Once again thank you for your question and thank you for watching my video. Please consider subscribing if you interested in getting information about different countries.
@@hilifetravel8764 Which visa costs 75 usd? The one I saw is about $120 for a single entry visa and I checked multiple sources and the official Saudi site.
@@davidhaddad9022 the one I got at Jeddah airport was $75 and is valid for one year with multiple entries. Please watch my video until the end. It is a new initiative from Saudi Arabian government to promote tourism in Saudi Arabia.
While you are there for UMRAH... its sad to see you OBVIOUSLY chased that long haired woman with your camera. Be careful of the laws in Saudi!!!!!
First of all thank you for your comment and the feedback. I appreciate it. I am not sure if I chased any woman with my camera. If that offended you I apologize for that but if I did anything like that it wasn’t intentional. Thank you for your time and watching my video. Consider subscribing my channel for more updates and more informative videos. Thanks
WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!
