My level of love for Heather, Brandy and Julie is so great, and I don't think I have ever disagreed with them. I listen to the JS episodes of B&J over and over. The EXCUSES that these women are making for James is GROSS. We’ve seen him countless times on VPR being verbally abusive to many of the women on the show. There’s no excuse, no reason to feel bad for James. He will never change.
It's Hollywood what do u expect. They have been turning their heads and ignoring abuse for decades! I'm not surprised by their views! They rather play nice then stand on whats right! They are cowards!.
A mother of 4 has gone missing and husband charged for her murder in my town. Last seen by a neighbor who saw them arguing outside. Saw him grab her and runaway. Didn't tell cops until she went missing. Gotta say something
I agree with Heather. The police were doing their job, the neighbor did the right thing. The police had to arrest him based on the scenario and the gf said he knocked her to the ground. It reminded me of the Gabby Petito case. If the officer had arrested Gabby’s boyfriend, she might be alive today. Not sure about the details of why he didn’t. As a DV survivor myself, it’s always worse than people think.
That’s crazy to say if you think you see something don’t say something and mind your business heather is right you should call better safe then sorry when it comes to someone being abused
So awful how they defended sth that is undefensible, abusive guys dont need us to feel bad for them. They are monsters that should end up in jail. HOW CAN ANYONE DEFEND that????
Julie and brandy, love you ladies but stop making excuses for him. He’s had too many passes. Mind your business??? If you minded your business you wouldn’t have a job. Being nosey is your business. You have your own podcast talking about everyone’s business. Cmon. I hope he gets the help he needs. ❤
Why feel bad for him?!! Wtf, he has had years to change his behavior, and stay sober, but he has done jack shite!! He deserves the bad attention. I wish Allie would just walk away from this ass whole.
Uhhh, wtf is wrong with you guys? I watch this show all the time and I’m shocked that you all are making excuses for James Kennedy. It’s not complicated. He’s an alcoholic and does stupid shit when he’s drunk. Idgaf how charming and sweet he is when he’s not drinking…there’s a problem, somebody got hurt, somebody was arrested…rightfully so. I’m most surprised at Julie…she’s usually such a staunch supporter for women. But now it’s “well, it’s hard to tell what actually went on.” 🤮 it only takes one time for James to “go too far” and “accidentally” kill somebody…he obviously has a history of this. The right thing happened, he went to jail and needs to be charged. Just not sure why yall are giving him a pass.
People: mind your own business if you hear a couple fighting. Also people: omg poor kidnap victim (while watching a show/movie/documentary). Please… if you hear something call the police. They let me get beaten because God forbid they worry about the neighbor.

Wow…feeling bad for James? Neighbor shout not have called? What if he has been abusing her for a long time? What if he thrown her a little bit harder? Don’t call the police? Pretend that you don’t hear anything?
Feel bad for him? Coming from the ladies who where upset at JL about WORDS he spoke about them, now imagine him pushing you both to the ground and they would be crying it from every corner! Definitely, do better and glad Heather disagree with them.
I love Brandy and Julie, but damn I’m disappointed in them today. It’s insane to say you feel sorry for James and to mind your business and look away when hearing or seeing signs of abuse. Agencies like adult protective services and child protective services exist so that those who are being abused and neglected can get help because people report it. Also, promoting your podcast by saying you “lean to the left” and “there’s something for everyone.” Girl, what??? You are the left and that’s why we love you and listen to the podcast. As your listener, it’s insulting that you would downplay your position because you’re sitting across from a Trump supporter and in front of her audience. Say it with your whole chest or don’t say it at all! God, are there no good ones left anymore???
Did you know in a lot of states if the cops are called on two people arguing by a nosy neighbor who thought they saw or heard something that one of them has to be arrested by law? Do you know how many lives have been ruined because of people too stupid to know if they should be calling 911 or not? Obviously there are times when there is no question 911 should be called but there are also alot of people who call 911 when they should instead be minding their own business, I think that's all B&J were saying, thats how I took it anyway
@@TheCEM421 You are putting words in their mouths to make it make sense to you. Ally literally admitted to being picked up and threw to the ground. End of story.

As a British person, I think his accent made his abusive nature seem like it wasn't *real*. I'm British so his accent means fk all to me. I have never liked him and was always surprised that Lisa was fine with employing trash like him. A man with that kind of character would struggle to be hired here.
Full Stop: people should still be calling the police when they hear or see things. Do you know how many people have died and the neighbors say, they heard something but didn’t want to make a big deal if it was nothing. And that person had injuries but could’ve lived had they had life saving measures occur but died due to no one alerting the police.
Brandy is so wrong on JK. Look up Suzanne Simpson missing in San Antonio since 10/6. A neighbor saw her husband grab her outside their home and force her away. Her husband has been charged with her murder even though her body has not been found. They did find her DNA on one of his saws (that he hid) & so they think he dismembered her. She had a 5 yr old & 3 older kids. Imagine how bad her neighbor must feel. I understand people don’t want to get involved, but a simple 911 call might have saved Suzanne that night. James has had plenty of opportunities get some help. I did see a pic yesterday of Allie moving some stuff out. I’m wondering if once the police report came out where she said he threw her to the ground, her family intervened. I would if I was her mother.
Their take on James was horrifying, what the hell is wrong with them? Making an excuses for a man for history of DV instead of taking victims side? Maybe we don’t talk about something so sensitive on a gossip show. Do they forget how connected Heather is to that group of people, if their comments got back to Ally I would be embarrassed for them.
C'mon, ppl where calling James number one guy in the group this time last year. Tabloids aren't always accurate, and they are keeping their opinions vague and not necessarily saying that it is all true. Allegedly is the prominent word here. It's easy to pile on hate. Let's cherish the open-minded room for more information to come in... geez. Brandy and Julie are still awesome.
@@KRT-e8vI’ve always despised him. He’s dark on so many levels. An official legal, police report says that he slammed her to the ground. That’s enough for me to draw some conclusions.

I feel like Rachel tried to warn Ally about James in one of the episodes in her last season but it failed because Ally wasn't going to listen to an ex of her boyfriend.
Yeah I gotta agree with the comments I was very surprised at how they were making excuses for James and really acting like it wasn’t a big deal . Idk I’m shocked especially because I like Julie and brandy and I was happy that heather said she did state she was thrown to the ground in the report . It just goes to show for some weird reason a lot of women will stick up for an abuser idk I don’t like it at all and thanks to all the women who stood up in the comments against it ❤
James Kennedy is good tv, but he acts like a spoiled brat 99% of the time he’s on camera…what is he like off camera? It’s not a stretch to imagine him being abusive. Also, many partners don’t leave until they reach a breaking point.
I'm uncomfortable with the way they want to look the other way or make excuses for James. It is an incredibly wrong take. We need to stop giving MEN passes. Ally sadly is also being complicit. But those relationships are extremely hard to get out of...ugh idk that I'm enjoying watching these three anymore 🥺
I think she is responding to your guests (as I did). Sometimes we get triggered - their comments were very hurtful even though Heather disagreed and tried to help them see the victim's side (and risks of something horrible happening when nothing is done).
@@SheLovesFubuI am shocked they said that. I love them and one thing I have always loved about them is the way they stick up for women. Even Heather seemed suprised

He belongs in jail. This couldn't be the first time he's done this to her.. shocked how this was just spoken about..
I think James allowed his drinking to get out of control bc he was reacting to losing his VPR job and his reactive, physical anger is impulsive. He needs help so he never hurts anyone else again. I hope Ally moves on and away from him and allows his consequences to run their course.
So Brandy an Julie are cool with James but Luigi is a firm NO!! Lmao their views are so backwards and entitled! What if James pushed her and she fell an hit her head an she died?! I bet they would still feel sorry for James lol they truly stand for nothing.
Super disappointing to hear how just bc James in funny from time to time and is "a character" or likable on show, he gets a pass for DV. I think Gracelle is just saying what we’re all thinking. PK does himself no favors. And the way he keeps telling Dorit to get over it. Something’s off.
I don’t want to piss anyone off and I agree abusers need to be accountable- I think where Brandi and Julie are coming from is trying to digest the information about someone they know personally. We all want to believe the best about someone we know. Saying you feel bad for someone you know who did something horrible isn’t a bad thing- you are trying to process it. Just my feeling-don’t skewer me😬
I can understand that, but this is why people are afraid to report abuse from well liked well known people. Thinking it and saying it to thousands of people are two different things, but you live and you learn.
Sorry I never liked James you could tell he has insane issues and very insecure! Would see him in manhattan beach driving around so fast and arrogant in his g wagon! He almost hit me and my son pulling into a parking acting like he the only one around.. it was gross! 🤢
Women have far too much loyalty towards men and men capitalise from that loyalty. I would have no problem believing any man I know was an abuser if a woman says she is a victim of it. I have male friends but having had an abusive father, I know that you cannot truly know what a man is like behind closed doors. They change their public facade very, very easily.
I can’t believe what apologists the guests are being. We have MULTIPLE exes (Kristen, Raquel, Logan) as well as Ally say he was abusive and violent. We’ve seen his anger issues and misogynistic nonsense ourselves on VPR. Enabling him helps no-one.
James has been accused of similar thins before. And it’s never okay to push down your partner. And tbh most people don’t want to get involved so I feel like it had to be extreme enough for a neighbor to call the cops. I don’t agree with brandy and Julie’s take for once. Side note she did move out of the home
I get how one could feel bad for James. He's wounded. At least that's the vibe I always got from him. Doesn't excuse anything but can understand. The whole thing sucks
Maybe I missed something. I don’t think Brandy and Julie’s intentions are to protect abusers. They were just having a conversation and giving different points of view. People need to relax and try not be disappointed by what they said. It was one time and it’s not like the podcast was all about abuse it was a topic in a long list of others.
It wasn't one time. James has a history of verbal and physical abuse with atleast 3 girlfriends. I don't think you'd excuse this so easily if this were your Daughter?
Agree!! They were NOT defending or saying DV is okay. I felt like Brandy was showing compassion for a person dealing with addiction. That’s it. These comments are not it.
To me, this was definitely a cringey take on the James thing…..HOWEVER, to skewer them over their opinion is also getting old. Can’t we just chill out, and ask them for a re-think on it rather than get so dramatic. Better learning opportunity IMO ….

If it indeed was the neighbor who called--he or she did hear something or see something, that person did exactly the right thing. Think about Suzanne Simpson--whose neighbor actually saw her husband hit her and drag her into the woods---and didn't call.
Brandy and Julie, I love you guys and look forward to whenever you’re on, but your takes are SOOO Wrong. People need to help others in their community, call the police, intervene etc. it’s very different scream when a woman is afraid and being harmed than people partying. My sister and I ran to help and save two neighbours from one being sexually assaulted and another woman being possibly killed by a man who was beating her. I hope there are more nosey neighbours, I hope people don’t loose their humanity and speak up. And men are violent sober or drunk, and men attack women physically and sexually who are happily married and fathers. Brandy and Julie I like you both so much, but really disagree with these statements and opinions, you sound like women who don’t believe other women and vote for Trump. Still big fans of yours but damn, so disappointed
Just to clarify - They are definitely staunch anti-Trump/Republican anything, and pretty much believe anyone who thinks otherwise is brain dead. Heather makes JS a political free zone (which I love), but Julie often makes political inferences about Trump and Republicans, especially in the last couple of appearances, and that truly grinds my gears.
This is DISGUSTING. Heather hasgone beyond being irrelevant and desperate to being downright disrespectful. Comparing her stolen earring situation first to JonBenet Ramsey and now likening it a Purple Heart?? Shame on you Heather. I wish you the success you deserve.... and as we see from her recent guests, she's getting exactly what she deserves.
Brandy & Julie, what??? Outcome of domestic violence is death. Do I need to say more? Even with a restraining order one of my students killed his girlfriend this year. He was the first one to preach kindness and respect. Now they both lost their lives. One is dead one is in prison for life. #mathewbrennamen I’m a retired educator You must know more as a modern day woman smh
Glad that Heather disagreed with Brandy and Julie on the James/Ally getting the police called thing but disappointed that Brandy and Julie still concluded the convo by saying they feel bad for both Ally and James. We actually don’t need to feel bad for repeat abusers. That sympathy is what allows it to continue and has enabled it for years. I felt a kick in the gut when I heard them say they felt bad for James
I’m with Julie! PK totally had something to do with the robbery and that’s why he couldn’t understand or relate to why Dorit couldn’t get over the fear and trauma of what happened. If it was real and that happened to me and my kids, my husband would have been so much more understanding and protective. He would have been just as traumatized for his family.
I love your show, and I always looked forward to Brandy and Julie, but I was shocked with their view on domestic violence. I'm not on board with this view. Wow. We are adults and can have different views, so I still like them but do not agree with them on this subject.
If we are going to have this compassion for James making a mistake, Sandoval and Raquel deserve the same compassion. Honestly, I don’t think any of them deserve compassion until they’re working to fix themselves.

Julie and Brandy are wrong! If you suspect domestic violence it should be reported! The person being abused may not be able to get immediate help!
Who knew that Brandy and Julie have views about domestic violence that are straight out of the 1950s. Didn’t see that coming.
Yea, it’s surprising to hear especially from Julie.
Agreed. Love them, so I'm shocked and disappointed to hear of this "cave-person" position on domestic violence. This is BEYOND.
So true, and I appreciate your honesty of sharing this!
Completely disagree with B&J on the James take. VERY disappointed
That’s crazy to say if you think you see something don’t say something and mind your business heather is right you should call better safe then sorry when it comes to someone being abused
Thank you
I agree. You could be saving someone’s life. It makes me think of Gabby Petito
@@JuicyScoop So glad you gave the counterpoint, Heather!!!!
@@Wakeupdelilahthat’s exactly what I thought of…. If you feel something in your gut you should definitely call! Idk what brandi and Julie are thinking
@@JuicyScoopThe take from Julie is disgraceful
So awful how they defended sth that is undefensible, abusive guys dont need us to feel bad for them. They are monsters that should end up in jail. HOW CAN ANYONE DEFEND that????
Julie and brandy, love you ladies but stop making excuses for him. He’s had too many passes. Mind your business??? If you minded your business you wouldn’t have a job. Being nosey is your business. You have your own podcast talking about everyone’s business. Cmon. I hope he gets the help he needs. ❤
very odd they love him so.....maybe jus for some drama huh...
Thank you!
I was kidnapped and almost murdered and no one called the police despite the multiple screams and noises of furniture breaking. No one called anyone. They let me get beaten because God forbid they worry about the neighbor.
Yes that is what I said.
I’m so sorry that happened to you. ❤
So sorry 🤍🙏🏼
@@JuicyScoopI was responding to your guests, and should've been more clear. I was triggered and wrote faster than I could think. I know you said the right thing and we love you!
You are very wrong. She has moved out since you spoke. You certainly don’t sound like you have zero tolerance when a man puts his hands on a woman. Not cool.
The photos of her putting stuff in her car came out after we recorded.
OJ was fun and charming too.
Exactly. So was Ted Bundy. What is their point?
@@JaneDBunny-b1i is she really a Trump supporter? I’m asking seriously - I thought maybe she just tried to stay neutral and/or not speak about politics in order not to alienate any part of her audience.
As a British person, I think his accent made his abusive nature seem like it wasn't *real*. I'm British so his accent means fk all to me. I have never liked him and was always surprised that Lisa was fine with employing trash like him. A man with that kind of character would struggle to be hired here.
His accent is so charming. And British accents are so polite. It makes me sad to see Julie and Brandi sticking up for him and saying they feel bad.
James' Father was George Micheals' Manager and both Parents are friends of The Vanderpumps. Connections and money always wins.
Really disappointed with Brandy and Julie on this one.
no kidding !!!!
Same. A woman gets thrown to the ground by her abusive boyfriend. Isn't that why people BECOME lesbians?
brandi's internalized misogyny runs so deep. its really disturbing. this isn't the first time she's sided with an abuser.
Was just going to write that. She defended Zack Bryan and victim shamed. Not the first time. So disturbing, had to stop watching.
Very telling
Full Stop: people should still be calling the police when they hear or see things. Do you know how many people have died and the neighbors say, they heard something but didn’t want to make a big deal if it was nothing. And that person had injuries but could’ve lived had they had life saving measures occur but died due to no one alerting the police.
I actually have a feeling this was recorded on a ring camera
Brandy and Julie getting ripped a new one on tik tok fro their comments on James Kennedy.
Stop making excuses for BAD BEHAVIOUR!! Why would you feel bad for him?! Really bad take in my opinion
James needs to get sober. Real sober. Not california sober. Sober. AA
What in the actual f Julie and Brandi, defending him?? What the f is wrong with you. I’m shocked, disappointed and disgusted in that
C'mon, ppl where calling James number one guy in the group this time last year.
Brandy feeling bad for James wtf? Thats his 2024 karma coming for him honey
I always skip the brandy and Julie episodes. They are not funny and there is a reason they keep getting fired. boooring. Id rather watch Heather solo.
Can we stop calling Megan fox gorgeous?? That’s not even Megan fox anymore it’s a completely different face that literally anyone can have. She looks like everyone else in 2024
I feel like Rachel tried to warn Ally about James in one of the episodes in her last season but it failed because Ally wasn't going to listen to an ex of her boyfriend.
Yeah I gotta agree with the comments I was very surprised at how they were making excuses for James and really acting like it wasn’t a big deal . Idk I’m shocked especially because I like Julie and brandy and I was happy that heather said she did state she was thrown to the ground in the report . It just goes to show for some weird reason a lot of women will stick up for an abuser idk I don’t like it at all and thanks to all the women who stood up in the comments against it ❤
That was really sad to listen to, like watching your girlfriends defend the abuser.
James Kennedy is good tv, but he acts like a spoiled brat 99% of the time he’s on camera…what is he like off camera?
It’s not a stretch to imagine him being abusive.
Also, many partners don’t leave until they reach a breaking point.
I'm shocked but then not. These ladies opinions have been questionable for some time.
His fame and longevity was because his Mother was Lisa's ole pal. Never liked him.
Did you listen to the entirety of our conversation before commenting
I think she is responding to your guests (as I did). Sometimes we get triggered - their comments were very hurtful even though Heather disagreed and tried to help them see the victim's side (and risks of something horrible happening when nothing is done).
@@SheLovesFubuI am shocked they said that. I love them and one thing I have always loved about them is the way they stick up for women. Even Heather seemed suprised
We did Heather and they got it wrong.
Oh Brandy and Julie just pissed off most of the watchers. BAD TAKE
Curious, what is the Karma that hit JL? I’m assuming that’s who they’re talking about.
And this is why people walk over injured old women in the street.. "ohhhh I'm sure the person who knocked her out could have had an alcoholic dad..my heart goes out to them.." .. just wow. He belongs in jail. This couldn't be the first time he's done this to her.. shocked how this was just spoken about..
I agree. People make excuses for grown men who are abusive like they’re children. He is a grown man abusing a woman. Hello
Exactly!! I absolutely DO NOT understand this reaction to a man putting his hands on a woman- EVER
I think James allowed his drinking to get out of control bc he was reacting to losing his VPR job and his reactive, physical anger is impulsive. He needs help so he never hurts anyone else again. I hope Ally moves on and away from him and allows his consequences to run their course.
There will always be a reason for an abuser to abuse.
I saw Heather reply to someone else's comment saying "they did not have all the facts when I began the topic" but not sure what other facts you needed after hearing that he threw her to the ground.
I will say as someone in recovery I think what’s sad is I feel like if he simply stopped drinking INDEFINITELY things like this wouldn’t happen, but it takes what it takes for people to try stop. As a survivor, I pray Ally is ok!! I can’t imagine going through something like that & then having it blasted ALL over the media when she was prob reeling. Thank god, if something happened, the neighbors called the cops cuz it’s SOOO hard to call the cops on someone you love, I can’t even imagine the added pressure of knowing the story will be everywhere by morning. I hope if this IS happening she can get out even though it’ll be so hard & a less glam life. For him, I’d check myself in somewhere immediately or get to mtngs no matter how ‘too good’ for them I thought I was. Things like this are almost never a one time event!!!!
It isn’t his first time being abusive. Its played out. Several times on the show.
I feel bad for all the girlfriends James abused not him.
I am SO team Dorit right now… I’m loving this side of her
I think Gracelle is just saying what we’re all thinking.
Just my feeling-don’t skewer me😬
Well said and I agree with you.
I can understand that, but this is why people are afraid to report abuse from well liked well known people. Thinking it and saying it to thousands of people are two different things, but you live and you learn.
I get this. But I’m really glad Heather spoke up in disagreement.
22:59 it's okay to call . U never know what could have happened
😅😂 I can picture Heather making fun of the teachers. That's hilarious
😂😂
I can’t believe what apologists the guests are being. We have MULTIPLE exes (Kristen, Raquel, Logan) as well as Ally say he was abusive and violent. We’ve seen his anger issues and misogynistic nonsense ourselves on VPR. Enabling him helps no-one.
The run time on WICKED gives me the hives. No thanks! 😂😂😂
but you haven't watched it? ...
It is so good!
Oh no once it’s done to you or someone you love then it’s different
Agree!! They were NOT defending or saying DV is okay. I felt like Brandy was showing compassion for a person dealing with addiction. That’s it. These comments are not it.
Alabama juicy scooper here! Not offended LOVE you 3 !!!!!!
To me, this was definitely a cringey take on the James thing…..HOWEVER, to skewer them over their opinion is also getting old. Can’t we just chill out, and ask them for a re-think on it rather than get so dramatic. Better learning opportunity IMO ….

I'm sick of people saying that bloke, came from a wealthy family. It doesn't actually mean that you're wealthy or that your family would pay for your surgery.
He wasn’t even a participant with United Healthcare. He had no pain after surgery and it was successful. When people say that they mean if anyone had a reason to be angry towards an insurance company it certainly isn’t someone with options and opportunities to pay. He wanted to save the uneducated peons and thought he was smarter than the regular person
@@BethFedTo be fair, you don’t know if he had pain or not unless you know the guy. Up to 30% of fusions fail, meaning the hardware fails to fuse w your bone. No way would I want to ever.
Heather, love all of you. Haven't read the comments--but Heather, you were spot on. If it indeed was the neighbor who called--he or she did hear something or see something, that person did exactly the right thing. Think about Suzanne Simpson--whose neighbor actually saw her husband hit her and drag her into the woods---and didn't call.
To not know what happened and say way more about feeling sorry for the perpetrator than the alleged victim says a lot about their character.
“The Butchelorette”, 😂😂😂. Always guaranteed a good time. ❤👏👏👏
I don't think they are defending him. They have to tread lightly.

Glad that Heather disagreed with Brandy and Julie on the James/Ally getting the police called thing but disappointed that Brandy and Julie still concluded the convo by saying they feel bad for both Ally and James. Lol heathers prison plan is still comedy 😂❤
Lmao people finally realizing Brandy and Julie are sellouts and hypocrites
I love your show, and I always looked forward to Brandy and Julie, but I was shocked with their view on domestic violence. I'm not on board with this view. Wow. We are adults and can have different views, so I still like them but do not agree with them on this subject.
