ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Crazy how the old toy biz cable has diaghram torso, butterfly joints, sculpted boots, wash, more paint application than the new one 😮
Crazy how the toybiz one had terrible proportions and didn't look like a human body. It's always funny when people say toybiz was better.
@@loganlandis5935they made more effort, just bad design choices. Hasbro makes no effort and bad design choices on most every figure. The apologist attitude helps none but Hasbro. Having higher standards causes them to do better. Accepting whatever they put out causes them to do less. Simple concept...
@@_nick_stark I just like marvel legends. I liked toybiz alot too, but they look wacky now. I think hasbro does great job 85-90% of the time. And I would rather focus on what I love then what I dislike. Plus the new face paint and pinless joint are awesome

I got him last week and I love him. I’m in the process of customizing him and falling more in love with him. Having never played MvC2, I have no sentimentality for the suit. But, I’ve read a lot of comic books so I am making him more comic-accurate.
Stock figure is still one of best of the year for me.

I added the straps from my first jim lee cyclops on to the calves the really made a huge difference.

You should try to put the shoulder pad that comes with the toy biz cable on the new cable. If hasbro did a rerelease cable the same cable just the sleeves rolled up and the shoulder pads PERFECT CABLE. Anyway try the shoulder pad part on the cable

If it was McFarlane we'd have the sleeveless variant next week, but Hasbro may never do it or he'll come in a multipack. But many people are just swapping Hercules arm under the shoulder down.
Surprised how popular this figure is. The rest of the Zabu wave is readily available online (in Canada) but this one was instantly sold out. It looks cool, just didn't think it would be that in demand.

Giant shoulder pad Cable was the outfit I was first introduced with, but this is my definitive Cable outfit.
The head is perfect but the body just a really good starting point for customizing... I'm gonna repaint & Jim Lee this guy up... step one put the old Toybiz Cable boots on him

He looks awesome, but I would've preferred a sleeveless right arm. I've seen mods with the Hercules right arm and extra straps from the retro carded deadpool. Looks the business!

I still find it funny how Hasbro shrunk down Nerf blaster designs to use for Marvel Legends weapons. The double barreled one that this figure has is the Barrel Break from about ten years ago.

The guns are based on Nerf blasters, they used to do that with the GI Joe Classified also

Thanks for the years of watching! I heat mine up with a hair dryer for about a 30 second to a minute. Some use hot water.
You can use silicon based shock oil too.

Think I'll donate him one of the mezco ver guns. They could easily have packed it with the sasquatch cable's gun. And all pinless, except the right arm🤷 Hasbro gonna Hasbro.

The second gun looks kind of warped to me. I know it came with at least one other figure that I have and it looked warped then too. Definitely agree Cable should have at least one HUGE gun but otherwise I’m happy with the figure

All the proportions on that revoltech are such a mess. I keep hoping they'll fix that stuff one day cuz of the great articulation, but nope. They stick with this wonky aesthetic. Thanks for sharing.

Hey shart, I recently got mine from GameStop and he was missing one of his guns. Weird thing is the tape was completely sealed and everything. How do I reach out to Hasbro for a replacement and will they give me one?
I just don't like how this figure doesn't come with a BFG, he's supposed to have a BFG. The series 6 Toybiz is still better despites being shorter

I wish he was a little taller. Let’s seem too short. I’ve seen him posted with the new Sabrrtooth and he’s shorter. He’s 6’8 and Sabertooth is 6’6.
But in the game he's 6'6 and Sab is like 8ft
I wish he only was taller than 6 more near 6.7
