Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, set the stage for a record-breaking spectacle that promised to be nothing short of mesmerizing on New Year’s Eve. In a bid to make history, the emirate geared up for its 5th consecutive attempt to break not one but two Guinness World Records™ with an unprecedented showcase of over 1,000 drones and a stunning “carpet” of aquatic pyrotechnics.
An eight-minute display along a 4.5-kilometer stretch of shoreline, extending from Al Marjan Island to Al Hamra Village, was a breathtaking canvas for a display that sought to secure the titles of the “Longest straight-line drone display” and the “Longest chain of aquatic floating fireworks.” The choreography and techniques employed were nothing short of groundbreaking, promising a visual extravaganza never before witnessed.
