In my personal opinion its kinda is tacky tho i do love a good throwback it just feels so cheap coming from ford himself. Like some looks were boujee and super tomford but i think the only thing that made it look good were the models
I think 80’s is about accentuating the tacky. And he definitely did that, with some forward elements that made it more a lucid dream of the past, without trying to be too sentimental.
I miss OG Tom Ford. The show/set production is okay but This collection is confusing & underwhelming I am sure many expected something different. This also screams Versace. His past few collections were fabulous though.

Looks good, we’re definitely still borrowing from this sheer clubwear revival of the 90s. But a lot of brands are I think it’s just a sign of the times. Metallics look gorgeous and you already know people are going to copy this. Be prepared to see a lot of metallic knock offs 😂 menswear started soft but really heated up by the end I loved it. The final look was giving me 2008-2010 Galliano vibes and I mean that with the highest respect.

bella had a lot of work done on her face, while gigi's face looks totally natural. that's why gigi's face hasn't changed much since she was 15 while bella's face has changed so much and so drastically.

Cowboy fashion as Designer wear, ok if you're a Country and Western performer. Think Cool for Summer is this the thought behind Dressing in Underwear and shear see-thru garments? Air Conditioning would be so Cold in these.
The sequined fabrics look so utterly cheap. Like something you'd find on the clearance section of Joann's Fabrics. Come on Tom Ford, you can do better than this, what were you even thinking?

Loved the mettalic. Just awesome men dinner jackets. Want want the low heal boots! The shiny croc coats were amazing. Want want that large pouch handbag! I did not like the handbags and garments with those sequin patches. Looked cheap. This collection does not look like what I expected from Tom Ford.
You can rock any of these outfits at any age, it's all about your outlook. As for the weight? There is a reason why designers chose tall and thin models and that's to use less fabric and best display the design. They're like walking mannequins- there's not supposed to be a relefection of the ideal woman/man. Let it go and be happy, no need to be bitter

Is it just me or does it seem like this show isn't a Tom Ford show? I kept watching expecting to see something truly amazing that only Tom Ford can create & I didn't. I know fashion is purely subjective so many may love this collection but I believe this is not one of his amazing collections. He is capable of much better.
