Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.
😂😂 that’s a great way of putting it
We live in a bungalow with mainly tiled flooring and the robot hover is brilliant, goes round everyday and keeps the tumbleweed at bay would not be wot out ours.
Love your rants, so much like myself.
I respect and like the honest way you do your videos. Cheers Chris
Good god it’s like listening to me it’s nice to know we are both right cats hovers and the rest Looking forward to the next episode
Hi Chris. I thought I was at a comedy show. Your sense of humour is brilliant. Agree with you 100% especially about cats! Keep up the good work!
Hilarious! Thank you
If the bird doesn't get out of the habit when you're away in the van, keep a primed supersoaker by the window and see how good your aim is. At worst it might clean the mirror.
Good stuff.... totally agree with you thoughts on UA-cam reviewers. Very rarely are they a balanced review.
Honesty is win , truth is King , love it 👍
Hey Chris, brilliant thought-provoking and funny podcast/video. It made me chuckle as we are VW transporter owners..... but we are considering buying a base camp 2 caravan ( moss and
mud free!!) We kinda want the best of both worlds.... with a lovely daily driver and on some occasions, i.e., probably in the winter months.... a more cosy space. However, Im mindful of the stigma that is attached to caravan owners and i wish they were more trendy rather than beige and brown sheds on wheels for 60.5yr year olds!
Loved your rant about your van, don’t worry all vans need ‘fettlin’ for at least 3 months use before you are a little more happy with it, but then the improvements start , Cats, rent free beasties that have at least 4 houses they think they own hate them.
Contentious, yes. Cats and Caravans, nailed it👍
I love the utube video. The best video I've watched. All the truth .. and I love it. Especially the cats statement... I'd just watched some random cat stroll across out grass like he owns it.. and thought exactly the same. Love it 🎉xxx
44 minutes and no edits that I noticed....brilliant, really enjoyed it...Are you not allowed to edit a podcast (I have no idea🤔🤔). Definitely with you on cats and caravans. I have been thinking this for a while, but perhaps a channel rebrand...Sloanes Moans🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Another great podcast, loved it.
Love your honesty and saying things that others wouldn't.
So much of what you say is what I rant about all the time and the wife just ignores me🤣
Looking forward to more👍👍👍
Brilliant.👍👍
...and I really need to clean my caravan (especially the roof and the 2 solar panels installed there) before going out for the first time this year, in a couple of weeks or so. The problem is that it is either sunny followed by rain or windy, or both, so I keep putting it off. Maybe tomorrow.
I agree with SOME of your views. We don't often (ever?) camp at Park4Night places but I could imagine on a long out-of season trip to Scotland when it's too late to complete the journey, staying the night somewhere similar but leaving early the next morning to complete the journey. We DO go to some camps for a few weeks (Beadnell in Northumberland is the longest - for a little over 3 weeks) but many of our camps are 2-5 nights on farmers' fields (a five van site or a DA meet or THS) where there need only be a water tap and somewhere to empty the toilet cassette. So otherwise off grid, using gas (Propane) and 12 volt electricity topped up by the solar panels. We OCCASIONALLY use a hook-up but can power ourselves for long enough without, unless in the winter when the solar panels would operate for a shorter period.
I have heard of people with new caravans saying they never use the loo or the shower in the van so would always go to a commercial campsite for those facilities. That seems madness to me - why spend £30K PLUS on a van and not use all its facilities? At least you know who else has sat on the loo before, or used the shower! Better than in an hotel, you also know that only YOU have slept in the bed! And if it's the difference between spending £35-50 (I know it's more on some commercial sites) compared to £10-15 "off grid" on a farmer's field, I know which I prefer.
We used to put up an awning for a weekend even if arriving late on a Friday and knowing we intended to leave at lunchtime on Sunday but we don't always do that now. Good if you have a child that needs some space out of the wind and rain though!
You mentioned them in the video but what do you think of power-banks like the Bluettis? I'm am THINKING of it.
Having said all that, you do very decent videos. I liked the Arran weekends, for example.
Hey Chris, so much in there that I agree with, you made me laugh and now I can't wait for the next one. Gotta find out what happens to the shitting Blue tit. Crocs, been hating on them for years still hate the way they look, but they are just so goddam useful, I'm wearing them as we speak!! Keep up the good work
Fantastic cats are not pets 😂looks like we all have the same thoughts keep up the good work 😊
Hi. Chris, you need to get off the fence and speak ur mind. Sean, Fife.
Also.... I need a sue 😅😅😅xxx
8 minutes in and I’m howling with laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 … X
Have just got a Wonga loan fer that there VW. I 'll give yer 10,000 fer it cos it's got a growth on it's back.
Interesting, albeit I beg to differ about my cat :)
We need to see birds live. Set a camera up.
🤣🤣 the exact same thing with a blue tit happened on my ex husbands car never on mine … It did eventually stop as they flew off ..
cover the mirror up it thinks its a preditor its reflection
At least half your subscribers own cats! This should be called how to destroy your channel in one video lol 😂😂😂😂
😂😂 got no doubt some people are soft enough to actually be offended by the truth 😂
@@ChrisSloanes I think you were a cat in a previous life mate! 😂😂🙀
😂😂
Off grid caravans, they tend to be singletons, possibly moved up from a tent in a park or down from a council flat. They don’t have a car so they cannot shift the van and you can always tell them as they will be walking a mile away with shopping bags, one with 2 4 packs of 1664 lager !
You can't condemn caravanners, then say you wear crocs ffs.
The holes in crocs are for your self respect to drain out
😂😂😂 I used to feel the same until I migrated to the dark side
@@ChrisSloanes Nooooo, head for the bright light. Come back from the darkness. Get some Adidas or something, even Sketchers?
Am on Arran atm, along past all the nice houses at Lamlash. Back home tomorrow, weather permitting 🤞
🤔 I think you’re overlooking what other people think about while camping. I know what you mean about other people encroaching on your time/holiday, I don’t like it but I think it’s something that is part of everyday life. I don’t like people, I think you’re the same, had too many bad experiences with people.
