When something doesn't feel right, as experienced by the professor who contacted the police, our heart and soul are trying to tell us something. Since souls are connected to each other, in sympathy, the moment the professor felt discomfort in her heart was the moment when Yingying Zhang was attacked by Christensen. This happened in real time. Yingying was murdered between 2:30pm-3:30pm CT on 6/9/2017.
Soshe started trusting people right away I guess, despite being in a new country, alone, half way around the world. Trusting enough to get into a complete stranger's car. So sad.
Might because Christensen has a fake badge and said he was an undercover cop? Emily Hogan testified that Brendt Christensen, now 29, pulled up to her as she walked alone to a bus stop on the morning of June 9, 2017, the day Yingying Zhang went missing. Hogan said Christensen, a former doctoral student at the university, wore mirrored aviation sunglasses and flashed a fake badge after pulling alongside her. She said he told her: “I’m an undercover cop. Could I ask you some questions?”
@@YueHuVIP That's not how it works. We don't get into cars with strangers. The woman he flashed a badge to was another individual that told him no. So girls or international students. Be aware! Do not get into a car with a stranger. I had lived in the state for 9 years. Loved it. Feel really sorry for ying ying and her family. The title is very misleading. For a long time, I thought maybe it was a mistake - it was meant for another story. But now I am fuming. The title is about the girlfriend of the killer, though she helped solved the case but it by no means is the focus of this tragedy. Terrible injustice for YingYing and her family.
If this doesn't have an ending part I'm gonna unsubscribe.
Princess Consuela Banana Hammock it won’t.
They never do.. if you live in the states their website has the whole thing .. I'm in Canada so I can't..
That's annoying I haven't had ones without an ending yet but I see it alot in the comments so it must happen alot. I assumed it's when there new and they haven't had a chance to upload the next parts yet.
If any of you have the streaming service Hulu, there are all the full episodes on there! They skip a lot of info in the episodes when it’s on UA-cam. On Hulu, they are about 1 1/2 hours long! Or you can download the app and watch the full episodes.
Manda H can you get the streaming service Hulu?
She missed the bus by seconds, and that ended her life!!! Talking about fate. :-(
talking about the killer. who and what is the man. what category does he belong to? so. whose fault? the bus's fault?
@@bdayspec373 Who said its the bus's fault? who are you even talking to
@@bdayspec373 Well, the bus driver saw her runing, waving her arms, ... he could have stopped for her.
@@TheXmeimei oh. so you should make sure your words are clear. your original statement is UNCLEAR and CAUSED CONFUSION. because the BUS did NOT kill the female. so let me ask again; what or WHO caused her death?
I think that lady rolled her eyebrows instead of her eyes.
Why do they break up these videos ....
And money
@Riki tiki Tavi says Don
Pathetic reporting repeating same info to make several videos to get money BECAUSE that's really what they care about not PEOPLE that's how ABC news has always been 😴😪 snuzzzzzzz

The reporter should have kept the “eye roll” out the narrative.
so pretty so smart and so accomplished, yet so much suffering. God would not give us an answer.

The professor is so nice and compassionate. Professors can’t be bothered about their students at all
My brother goes to U of I and I remember him telling me about this girl who went missing on her way to sign a lease
The tone of this episode is in such bad taste, lighthearted and self-congratulatory when we all know what happened to the poor girl.
I garner an uncontrollable urge for wanting vigilante justice against such horrendous crimes.
Please stay safe everyone!
Don't get into this. It's missing the last two and ending of this story.
This is so saddening, she came to this country for a better opportunity and this happened 😭
Don t bother watching this. It s a 2 hr long episode and they only uploaded less than half of it. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Wow, lady, lol. Thanks for rolling your eyes.
Idr what he told Zhang, but she unfortunately entered the car voluntarily (probably because she was running late or lacking funds atm. I don't remember).
@@BrannonGaming If it was just a stranger, I don't think Zhang would get into the car. The info we got from the internet as foreign students is always cooperate with US police because they have guns.
@@YueHuVIP According to other posts, the guy was a TA for one of her professors. Sad situation all around.
@@BrannonGaming so sad
I hate when people come here to better themselves and some loser does the unthinkable
He is pure 👿 evil. I have followed the case. He chopped of the poor girl’s head and dismembered her. Placed her body in several bags and threw them in dumpster. He refused to tell where he throw her body until the end of his trail. Ying ying ‘s family were told that it’s been two years since it happened, ying ying ‘s remain is impossible to find in the land filled , and possible be compressed into the size of an iPhone. Ying ying’s family and boyfriend came to U.S. a few times and tried to bring her body home. But they eventually left with disappoint. Ying ying is not from a well off family that’s why she wanted to sign a new lease to lower her rent. She just came to America for two month and such bad thing happened to her. I am an international student come from China, when this happened , I just graduated and about to leave U.S. I was gonna sell my car on Craigslist before I leave , but when she is missing . I had a bad feeling. I then sold my car back to the dealer because I didn’t want anyone to test drive my car. It could be dangerous if I also sat on the car with whoever want to “ buy “ my car. So girls or international students. Be aware! Do not get into a car with a stranger. I had lived in the state for 9 years. Loved it. Feel really sorry for ying ying and her family. Ying ying came to America for pursuing her PhD , but with a mistake, she had lost her life. And one chilling point this episode is called undercover girlfriend is Bc his GF willing to help the police to record their conversation. This evil man even went to the event people set for looking for ying ying. And he told his GF at that event “ I had killed her. They all came here today for what I have done. You know I wouldn’t kill someone like you , I found my victim like ying ying who is petite and easily to dispose her body somewhere. “ he was sentenced to life in prison. Ying ying. RIP.
So sad... RIP ying ying
Petite and easily to dispose... what was wrong with this maniac...
I hope the other inmates he’s housed with think he’s petite and disposable. Would be great if he suffered hellishly every day for the rest of his sad excuse of a life.
What is this title really??? I thought it will be about a young undercover police officer, who was hiding her identity and task. Then I realized I heard this story and has nothing to do with anything like that.
It's crazy how if these little things like missing the bus didn't had happen she would probably still be here. Aw, she had her whole life ahead.
“Rolled my eyes for another missing person” is the suspect
Such a beautiful young lady.
No she was very pretty. She had to play it down
My friend Randy Leach has been missing since April 15, 1988. Why don't you give him some national coverage? His parents are not going to live much longer! Justice for Randy Leach!
Ok, first few minutes and everyone talks about some chinese girl in the past tense like she died.
Frankly it's sweet that they at least worried and looked for her as a family would.
It would have been so easy for no-one to noticed she just had come and they were not close friends yet
Anyway her coworker is a really good person and just immediately going out of her way to make sure she was ok
People are overreacting to the reporter who says she rolled her eyes:
She is speaking from experience in that, most people who come with missing people reports, theyre not “missing” but rather an over reaction. She did say that she felt that this situation was different and went ahead and put out a report.
You can't trust no damn body .... SMH ...
I don’t know the lady but I’m an international student came here at the age of 18 yrs old. I feel so so bad for this young girl and her family who won’t be able to see her 4ever. It’s sickening that people will kill innocent people cuz they enjoy doing such a heinous and gruesome crime.
Well, I watched the whole of it in one go on their 20/20 website, and GODDAM! It's such an awful crime. "Undercover Girlfriend" is a horrible title. They should call it something like "Justice for Yingying" "or "Missing Student" if you want to be vague.
I love how that detective responded to the reporter’s loaded question “Do you think they were feeling you just weren’t doing enough?” with “I think they were just so concerned for her welfare. They had a sense of urgency that she needed help...” he sounds like a detective who really cares.
Yingying's family i'm really really sorry for what happened to yingying , i know there is nothing to make u forgot what hppened but really for.6 months and i'm still thinking of her i dont know why , just believe that she is in a better place now u didn't found her body but her soul is with you always and in a clear place 💜💜💜💜 please be strong 💙
There's a time that everyine will get what he/she want just wait 💪💪💪💪💪
Right away they are referring to her in past tense, very, very sad.
You never find out why it’s called undercover girlfriend unless you google how they caught the guy. Wtf abc lol
I know its frustrating. They just want you to download their app. I had to Google the rest too because I couldn't remember exactly what happened in the end.
I get that this video and title aren't meant to be disrespectful but it's still in very bad taste. Remove yingying zhang from the thumbnail, please. I know ABC isnt gonna see this or even care but I can't be silent about this.
Video:
95% why lady roll eyes
2% aww so sad
3% random
A. I. says eye rolling is proper response for good video.
I came back from part 5 to tell you this is an incomplete story. They never uploaded the final two parts of this.
This story haunts me... it’s just so frustrating because someone with so much potential was murdered. All she could have done in this world is forever gone.

6:20 the disbelief on that guy's face like "wtf did you just said, rolled your eyes?!"
The amount of guilt and regret all of her friends must carry day to day must be awful. I know I would tell myself everyday why didn't I take two hours of my day to accompany her rather than her be alone and never be heard from again
i couldnt watch this, her body was compressed into the size of a cell phone by the cold-blooded killer .. too heart breaking
How did he exactly killed her??
I love learning about murder mysteries and I have seen a lot of them. This story has stuck with me the most for some reason. My heart goes out to her family who have to suffer everyday knowing this monster killed her. She was going to do great things and now she’s gone forever. I think part of this sticking with me is knowing how close this was to never happening. I wish she caught the bus that day. I just I can’t even begin to try to understand why people do this crap. Rest In Peace ❤️
She is still missing
Yue Lu no 😞 he confessed to the murder but last time I knew he won’t say we’re the body is he’s a worthless piece of crap
@@jessschnebly7893 really wow SMH
Jess Schnebly I live in this state and it had huge coverage and he said he threw her body pieces into a garbage bag and threw it away

I live in the town, a block away. This was really freaky
If a loved one goes missing, step 1, hire a PI. Cops are way to lazy to help.
I'm a couple hours from Champagne. Most who dont go to SIU goes to U of IL. Very sad case. Good for the killers girlfriend for wearing a wire to put him away!! Wish these videos weren't in parts though.
You should be more smart having your name and picture saying where you are
@Torchy Brown i wasnt even replying to you 💁🏼
But UIUC is harder to get in than SIU
you mean Champaign
Can you combine your videos instead of several small videos please!!!
At the end of the day u need to police yourself , unfortunately she was an innocent foreign girl and that’s most likely why she was targeted, very sad .
She deserved a lot better. She was obviously too good for this world.
The killer pretended want to give her a ride to her house while she waited for a bus. She was duped into it.
I attend a high school in Urbana that’s really close to the place where she was kidnapped and every day when I walk there I always get chills
😥 she was amazing rest in love Ying Ying ❤
Where can I watch the documentary?
Will the bus driver feel bad if he saw her but not taking her for any reason?
The driver already left the bus stop.
I was also curious about this. They said it’s against policy to stop the bus on the other side of street. Stopping the bus can cause pedestrians to run onto coming traffic.
Never get into a stranger’s car 🚘
