This episode shows how Glenn rebuilds the frame for the pergola in the makeover of the rundown entry to the client's rustic house. Glenn was asked to rebuild the client's patio, steps and entry to the front and back sides of her house; much of the paving was recycled, both leading from the driveway surrounding her sprawling native garden and wildlife near the rugged coast in southern Victoria.
She aimed to reuse materials wherever possible, rebuild the unsafe patio, build steps that improved safety and ergonomics, and repurpose old hollow block pavers as the entryway to the patio.
With a few well-placed adjustments, the client's entryway was transformed into a safer, brighter, and more organized space, providing comfort as she stepped into her home daily.
