In this current exam-year, I have written many the mains exam like SBI Po and IBPS Po etc. Also, I have cleared IBPS Po mains by 4.25 marks, I know that is not a very good lead, but I am now comfortable with Mains. My point is that about a misconception on Cutoff and normalization. In 4rt march shift I have appeared. Current affairs were like nightmare. 5 questions were on purely banking act and section. And many of the questions, 20 approx purely out of the box. See I studied well C.A of nearly 4 months And I got only 7 to 8 direct questions on that but that is not my attempt. Next, I am coming to english section. It was not like prelims as everyone gossiping about. If you did study in english medium, then all questions are good for you but if you didn't then all shifts are on the same boat. Coming to the reasoning section, all puzzles were looked very small and easy, but it was too tricky that I could not be able to solve them and back-to-back you will feel disappointed with puzzles in this shift. This particular phenomenon is nightmare for reasoning. You have to do all the critical reasoning and miscellaneous. Coming to the quant section, miscellaneous questions were there like approx and quadratic equations but as per my knowledge some doable miscellaneous and simplification were there in every shift. Now you will say there are many students who attempted 30 questions in quaint 25 questions in reasoning and 30 questions in english. One answer my friend that many students scored 20+ in IBPS Po mains and I just scored 4.25+. This is competition not academics. In the 2nd shift also, I know many of my friends who attempted 95+. I didn't appear in other shifts if really harder than the 4rth then you will be benefited. My point is that 4rth was not halua or easy.
in every shift some questions were hard and tricky irrespective of any section...so normalisation will take place and all shifts would be balanced out...so no need to worry.....as long as your accuracy is good.....
