Mal abgesehen von der ganzen "was wusste sie/Schuld" Debatte ist es unglaublich, dass jemand mit 105 noch gut hören und sehen kann und auch noch völlig klar im Kopf ist.

Her: "I was full of doubt if that would succeed. And now I want to thank you for what you accomplished and I wish that this movie will be shown to many young people."
Woman in the audience:" I think that what was shown in the announcement is right, this movie is remarkable and if I continue working as teacher I would like to show it to the children."
Olaf S. Müller: She and me got to know each other at a research about the intern proceedings in the propaganda ministry. She was one of the few who could inform about that, and I got to know her as a woman of impressive personality who could describe her feelings and experience. As a woman with humor and understanding. Also a woman who is self-reflected and I thought it would be great to make movie about that and to process that long-term. And then it took a while and someday we convinced her."
Woman in the audience: "I wanna say thank you to the team and Mrs.Pomsel that you were willing to do that. A wonderful story and I think it is tremendously important that the youth will see how in what situations the people have been back then."
Christian Krönes: "It is appealing to the future generations and to you, we wanted to prove with that movie that war doesn't come out of nothing, to be alarmed, to question our own position. And especially in a time as we live now where radical mindsets becomes presentable. To react on time."
Mrs.Pomsel: "When I called you sometimes and you said "yeah, yeah, we have to postpone it." and I thought it will not succeed, you just didn't want to make me sad to admit it was a mistake. (director: I hope we could satisfy you now), yes, now I have to say... I am regardless of my age a little vain."
The translation is not perfect, but I just translated it quickly while eating dinner ;) I still hope it's okay.

Yes, it was right to make this film. But it is always easier to believe that old people are innocent. It is simply hard to believe what they say when they are very old, what is the real difference between facts and what they pretend to say later. The lady says she did not know. Of course she can't admit she did. If she says she was naive... If we are "naive" today, it might have bad consequences. And wehn we are old - what will be our excuse? The millions of jewish lives are still an open wound and a big trauma for many family members of the victims. A few films can make it just a bit easier. The today's world should not forgive those who could have done something in time. WAKE UP!!

Yes! YOU have to wake up. it is already happening today and you are in the same cycle without knowing it. people like you are exactly the people who are the first to repeat. and soon you will be the one who cannot be forgiven, and you will be the victim of your own logic and crime!

Pomsel went to Goebbels after winning the competition for the best and fastest writing secretary in 1942. Of course, she knew everything about what was happening in Germany then. She was not only Goebbels' secretary, but also a member of the NSDAP. In an interview, she says that it was a reward and an honor for her. She is just as guilty as any Nazi. Despite this, she was awarded with applause. This is not normal for me.

@@janosiejuk1088 She was probably a witness to the famous _"Sportpalast speech",_ where Goebbels asked the fanatic crowd if they wanted the total war.
She probably even wrote it down!
Even if she didn't know about the extent of the holocaust to the full extent. Like most Germans.
I don't think that she thought that the 250,000 German Jews _(of 500,000),_ which didn't have the chance to migrate, lived a happy life in the East.
And millions of Wehrmacht soldiers came back from the Eastern front, with stories about crimes they witnessed _(and sometimes even participated),_ behind the front lines.
It's estimated that around 250,000 people did directly participated in the holocaust. Now imagine how many actually knew about it.
Especially if you did work for Goebbels himself!
