Simply Superb movie, Maatalu chaalavu, I got addicted to the movie and its characters. Brilliant screenplay, direction, performances and everything. sincerely hope Telugu filmmakers try and do more movies like these and step away from FORMULAIC MASALA MOVIES. DRIVING LICENSE mentioned is this video also a very nice funny movie, brillantly made. I have no ambiguity in saying this, despite being a proud Telugu guy, I love this movie as much as anything I've watched in the last 30 years.

This is a very good classic movie with mass touch! Though I am a telugu man I liked it very much watching this movie in malayalam! I don't think it would be re-made in telugu as it is because our present telugu heros are totally making mass- masala movies which are liked by their diehard fans! They are fixed in image circle! Giving equal priority to 2 heros is difficult now a days! It was there in ANR- NTR,: Shobhan babu- Krishna era!

Prime video copy has telugu subtitles but they are coming after dialogue spoken, some 2 seconds delay is there. It made viewing difficult. English sub titles are not good translation. So there is problem viewing the movie in Prime video.
