If you create seasonal variants of your trees and other vegetation you could swap them during the year. The pink gives a spring time vibe. For fall you could have orange and red leaves, for winter white leaves and the light and dark green ones for summer.
Totally agree. It will take a pretty good investment in purchasing plant parts (hundreds needed), but changing out fifty or more trees with seasonal colors would really be impactful on the “look” and “feel” of a city layout
I have a plethora of minifig parts for my winter village section of my layout … including torsos of sweaters & jackets, scarves, beanie/tuques, ushanka hats, gloves, etc.
Seeing 2 Emmetts around Al’s barbershop, it would be hilarious to see even more Emmetts around there with some regular citizens being either confused or scared about the clones of Emmett
Perhaps a holiday parade too. It could be a way to have deer pull Santa's sleigh and not have it precariously balanced on a rooftop. You should definitely grab a couple Cupid cmfs that are coming out and make it look like a game of Cupid tag, or little cherubs lovebombing the citizens. Halloween is my favorite holiday so seeing more spooky characters out, pumpkins, and bats will be great to see for a month. Get that Boogeyman cmf too!
for F1 cars I would add an elevated race track lol 🤣🤣 One thing I'll personally do it's to add more tree variants of the same type. Like a different types of birch, cherry blossoms...
It's a great idea to add seasonal changes and turn your city into a F1 grand prix circuit! You seem to always pay attention to spacing between buidling blocks and integrating green spaces throughout - it's something I really appreciate when looking at a city that's not overly crowded. It's more work to swap things out, but as long as you continue your city designs with these key elements in mind, it'd be awesome to see these changes.
That was actually one of my main goals for the city - to not overcrowd it! It's so easy to put too much on the table, so I've been trying to keep everything at a nice balance. It's definitely more work to swap things out (and also a lot more storage space), but I think it's worth it!
Hi Chris. Your channel is extremely inspiring for a guy like me who is just looking to get into building a Lego city. I’m really interested in your tables but can’t find a video where you describe them or build them. Does that exist?
I actually just did a video on them! The title of the video is 'Expanding the LEGO City' and I go into detail on the expansion table I create. I never made a video showcasing the main table I made for the city, but the way I create the expansion table is the exact same I did for the main table. The wood I used is called MDF Board (medium density fiberboard) and I got it from Home Depot, and the legs I used are from Ikea. Hope this helps!
Seasonal changes would be a great idea. I would like to see F1 cars in the city. Maybe line them up based upon how each team is doing each week. Go Red Bull in 2025 !
wow 9 months since you started the channel and lego city. time flies. the seasonal idea sounds interesting. certain holidays like halloween and lego and imagination mix well. I have a small lego town and some CMFs that are costume looking minifigs so I can probably do something like that as well. I have the lego beetlejuice living in my lego town as homage to beetlejuice.
I really like the seasonal changes idea. I actually plan to buy the whole City F1 line just to make a race day. I also made different signs for the Grand Emporium to be changed during the year. And I haven't finished it yet, but I'm building a permanent Winter Village but without Christmas decoration, which I'll only add back next December. 😉
You could create parade floats for the different seasons, for example, a Spring/Easter bunny type float, a Summer balloon/tropical island float, and same for Autumn/Halloween/Winter 😊
Not a fan of the 8 stud wide cars. I would prefer you do four the 6 stud wide vehicles for a race. The 8 stud wide speed champion cars are big and bulky and look ginormous for a Lego figure.

And best wishes for 2025!

Thank you for your input! I'll look into making this happen!
Yes, thats good idea, I also thought to that😊

I have you a like because you used the word ‘plethora’ 😁 It’s not used enough!
Hoping to see Wiley E Coyote in the city in 2025. Have an amazing new year.
Happy New Year to you too! I'll look into buying a Wiley E Coyote just for you :)

That’s a good idea! I’ll see if I have any more

These are great ideas! I'll have to look into making them happen!
Add a Christmas tree lot and maybe a Christmas Market/ ice rink
That's a good idea!
for F1 cars I would add an elevated race track lol 🤣🤣

Tree variants are a good idea! I’m still trying to decide on a good tree design that doesn’t use too many pieces

I agree. You could give some corners Monaco like curbes

Your city looks great, I would add a taxi/bus station
I have a pull in in front of the train station for taxis and buses, but I'll look into making a small building to go out front of it!

I LOVVVE the often uploads!!
Thank you!
Great vids and best whishes for 2025!!!!
Happy New Year!
A white Christmas tree might be nice
I can make that happen!

That’s awesome!
Happy New Year🎉
Happy New Year!
How about add Christmas lights to the crane
I can do that!
I think that a racetrack in the city is unrealistic with your road width. I would suggest a car parade down main st. for Fourth of July.
I can do that too!
Bro I remember when you had 100 subs Now you're at 2k with thousands of views!Congrats! 👏❤🎉
Thank you, I appreciate that! Time really flies!
Found your City and let you a Subscribtion there as you are a inspiration for our own city. Go on. 👍
I'm glad you are inspired by my city! Thank you for subscribing!
and this is a great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

That's awesome! If I had the Grand Emporium I would do the same! And I bet that Winter Village will look awesome once it's done!
