Back in 2000, on the 4th of August, when this girl came by along with her Aunt and Mother to request me for a single Stage Chance alongside, Shakar Mahadevan, for a Private Concert - it was 0630 pm, and it was raining so heavily that first of all - I had to make them comfortable immediately. After all - 3 Ladies and I cannot make them wait, it is such a Staunch Memory on my Mind's Plain that even today, I am typing without any gap. When we took the request to Shankar ji (I was the Co-Anchor) for this Private Video, and I am proud that she almost went through those gates - meeting me FIRST. Love you Shilpa. Today, she might have grown bigger than her Image and Name, but we didn't forget her at all. I came back home at 0400 am, that night but I still reminisce that Night even till today. Shankar ji, said - Som, she better be good, and went on stage asking me to bring that girl on Stage - and what happened was History - Thanks Everyone who was the reason for her to belt on that Great Path towards Playback Singing.
