Fun fact Famu was the last hbcu to win a national championship back in 1978 also in that same year TSU was apart of the FBS - FCS Split in 1978 they was a FBS Independent for 2-3yrs before going back to the FCS Famu was also an FBS independent back in the late 90s early 2000s as of now those was the only Two HBCUs to ever go FBS, Famu would probably be FBS now If they would’ve waited a few years before jumping

Tennessee State actually plays most of its games at Nissan Stadium where the Titans play. Hale is on campus but they rarely play there
