Picked one up on Facebook marketplace for $150 battery is shot but at least I'm good with battery building. Great video review. Controller swapp and the hills should be a breeze. Great work.
1:47 how on earth do you take your fingers off without slipping dude? I’ve been riding plenty of electric scooters over the months, and whenever I did that, I would fall off. I don’t think it’s an issue of balance tho because I usually have great balance and stance…
I need your help!! I’m stuck between the Pegasus and the kaabo 8. I’ve had a zero 9 scooter and LOVED it! However, flat tires were a complete turn off and bummer! I’ve watched so many videos and really like the kaabo but the thought of getting a flat tire really scares me! I don’t want to go through that crap again. I’ve watched a lot of videos on the Pegasus and I’m not sure of its quality compared to the kaabo 8. This would be my main source of transportation since I don’t have a car so I need something dependable...do you have any updates on replacement tires for the Pegasus? please help me in my decision...
Get a wolf warrior X series I have the X Pro after 44 miles at 20 MPH I still have 31% battery ,set at 15 MPH it will start off fast on the steepest hill
That's pretty awesome...15 Miles (24 Ks for your Canadian cousins) Can I ask...how big are you? I'm wondering what the range would be for someone around 250lbs and 6 tall :)
I just got mine today after I ordered it a week ago. There seems to be some kind of rattle in the back when riding it, does anyone else have that happen?
There's 2 setting (P11, and P12) Rk9! It does say not to change it however I did it Change it...., and it became so much faster, give it a try lol, even my brother who has a Kaabo mantis pro SE was impressed.
I only have a gotrax, but no matter what app I use on my phone, they always say it's 2 miles per hour slower. I think it's just GPS lagging the two miles per hour because it seems to happen no matter what type of scooter it is and what a pier on. I've been wondering the same thing about solid tires, what happens when they need replaced? Do you have to buy a whole new motor and hub? Or does somehow the tread just go on like a tire
You do not replace vacuum sealed solid tires, you replace motorhub assembly that has vacuum sealed solid tires already on it. I have almost 800 mi on one of my Nanrobot Lightnings, which is a very comparable scooter to the Pegasus, and my front tire is starting to wear down in the center but what I'm noticing is that once they wear down they actually perform better, more in line with a PMT racing slick so these tires should last for a very long time.
@@Frostorm777 I'm up to 3500 miles on it now. 🤣 Still no motor hub replacement. As long as you don't go out when it's wet there really is no risk. Slicks don't work that well when it's raining
Nice ride and interesting to see what the lil varla was able to do especially on the occasions you put it outside of its comfort zone. Thanks for sharing :)
Can you do a maintenance video on the Pegasus specifically for the brakes? I have looked on youtube but the Pegasus seems to be different even though its manual brakes. They squeak really bad and also my back brakes are rubbing inwards rubbing the disc while riding
I've been watching several videos on the Mantis, Pegusus or the Varla Eagle Eagle series trying to decide on whcich one to buy. I got my 14 and 17 kids each Sisgad Dart Scooters which they love but for me I want something a bit faster. the one thing I've noticed on the speed is definitely your body weight will determine how fast it will actually go and how long the battery charge last. My son is 60 lbs. lighter than me and he goes 20-21 mph on a beginner scooter designed for 15 mph while I go a max 16 mph. Thank you for all the great videos on the different types/brands of scooters.
Hey shout out to all of you gotrex fans my gotrex v2 can be used like a cargo carrier if the tyes go flat it actually gets over ice and snow quicker with less hangups than with airfiled by walking to the side with your handed on the throtlesbar
@@DoovidE yes i got it, it is great to be honest good suspension, great miles i usually get around 30 and its more than enough fast are you picking between getting one? If so tell me what your picking between
@@BarnieLovesBaylen well I’m getting a scooter on FB marketplace and the Pegasus is just the best deal I found. I’m getting it for 550usd with a lock and helmet, 200 miles on the odometer. I just wanted to confirm it’s a good scooter before getting it.
Nice video, how was the off-roading on the Pegasus. Was the suspension good enough or does it need to have it's older brothers (Eagle One) suspension? On a side note did you hear about the Emove Cruiser getting a higher top speed of 30mph?
I wouldn't do anything more than just very mild dirt riding on it. The suspension was fine on the section I did by anything rockier would be too much for it. The higher top speed on the cruiser is nice. Makes it a more appealing buy for sure
Big news! The first ever line of RK9 Rides apparel and merch is out!

Yea how would you change that tire. Maybe hacksaw the worn tire and replace with some sort of new tire wrap that bonds with a strong epoxy. Hummm

Put it in eco mode on the last few miles and you probably make it back with ease.

The black ridge area is awesome. Film in some of drapers neighborhoods too!

What will pay do and what settings
Oh those settings make it so much faster
Is this real? Does it actaully go faster?
How do you change those settings and which one is fastest
I want this scooter but the range sucks. I’d have to charge it at the office and carry the brick around. Might have to bump up to the eagle.
I found out on my Pegasus that when the battery cuts out you can just switch to one motor and it runs down much more evenly!
useful trick for getting home when it runs out. I wonder what the min range of single motor mode is

I get about 25% further on single motor Wolf Warrior X Pro
Looks like you have all those trails for yourself dude and barely no street traffic almost like a ghost town I like it

What app are you using to see how fast you are going?
Its just called Speedometer, but I bought the "Pro" version to not have any ads. Its literally called "Speedometer Pro"
Does it have speed cap or something which needs removal? Mine stays at 28MPH and doesn't go up, don't know why
