Just bought the Toneforge Jeff Loomis, the sound is more upfront in the mix and the clarity of notes is better than Neural DSP John Petrucci. Also it is "ready mixed" and don't need to dial too much to get that professional recording quality. In general, it is the most amazing metal plugins I have tried although it was released for 3 years. Nice work, JST!
Thank you for these videos! Very clearly exposed!! But damn, I can’t notice the diff with overdrive at all. I slightly noticed it in the rhythm guitar video. In the amp I only noticr the treble change. I use Audio Technica ATx-40.

How can i use it with a VST Guitar? I have Ample Sound Metal Eclipse. Do i need a DI File from a part of the song to play it with Toneforge? Thanks for your help
