thanks for the great feedback John. I was on the stock Bridgestone Battlax on this trip as the bike was fairly new. Looking at Dunlop Trailmax at the moment. My riding buddy on this trip was running Shinko's - cheap as ships and he swears by them!
@@theboomerangbiker1966 Thanks Nick for your feedback, I'm also looking at the Motoz GPS for the rear and the Dunlop Trailmax for the front, I believe that Motoz has a new tyre coming out soon called the Motoz DV (Dual Venture) which sounds good as well.

@@johngiavitto5522 I feel your pain. At least the weather will be better by the time we get to go. I'm doing my favourite loop... the Great Ocean Road, then up through Halls Gap and home via Daylesford - will make for a great trip video and a chance to include some footage from my new drone...

Had to say mate, the fog and wet was so bad I felt like stopping and camping in the Blowhard Hut!

Not pleasant .. beautiful road but this is pointless .. I’d pull over and set up camp or turn around
I take your point Richard, but all our gear was wet through and we had a nice warm hotel to get to!
