Genuinely, thank you for this story. As a brand new DM, having the story laid out like this was easy to follow and didn't get bogged down with too many specifics.

Respect for your hard work on all of this man... Hope you get the recognition you deserve. Your story walkthroughs are wonderful and helped me a lot to chose what to continue after I ran Lost Mines of Phandelver.

I sometimes just relax to the sound of your voice, calmly telling me tales of grand adventures. Great work. I love it.

This has quickly become one of my favourite UA-cam channels, can get an overarching full understanding of a 5e module's story before reading through it and prepping will make things a lot faster by having the foresight. I may only be able to subscribe once, but I can like and comment on each video as I watch them to boost that algorithm.

Hey man, big fan of your stuff, and as a gm that has recently started running through modules, this has really helped me learn the general outline for how some stories can go. Thank you for your work. Keep it up!

Thanks for the kind words and glad to hear that it's been helpful! I really enjoy reading the prewritten adventures so I figured people out there would like a summary of how the may stories go.
Hope your sessions are a blast and cheers!

Thanks for this, great for us ADHD DMs who need a quick, to-the-point summary when first diving into a new module.

This is a well made video! never seen someone mix in the box text from the adventure into their overview so well! and interesting player character perspective for the overview.

I am excited for the dragon stuff at the end of this campaign. Going to be running it tomorrow but I am changing the encounter with Aidron and Sparkrender so that they are best friends but ‘Sparky’s’ father stormbiter made him capture aidron. When it comes to the final blow aidron will ask the adventurers to spare their friend which will have benefits if they do.

I'd love to see you explain the strixhaven campaign.

    • @DnDWalkthrough

It's on the bucket list! Eventually, I will get to it but oh boy, the backlog is super full. I believe, currently, I have Ghost of Saltmarsh lined up and then Tales From the Yawning Portal. After that should be the new Dragon Lance adventure but I'll definitely try to squeeze in Strixhaven after Tales From the Yawning Portal if I have time! Most likely though, I'll squeeze it in after the Dragon Lance adventure.
Funnily enough, I may not be the best person to do Strixhaven but I'll certainly try! I've never explored much of the setting for MtG so it'll be fun for me to read. I play quite a few card games but never really got a chance to dip my toes into the MtG TCG.

Why doesn’t Runara just take care of these problems? She’s a freakin dragon after all. I know she’s a pacifist but why? I feel like it’s a plot hole that doesn’t get covered. Your recap is good, comprehensive and easy to understand.

    • @Giratina155
      @Giratina155 9 місяців тому

I'd assume its a combination of pacifism, not wanting to reveal her dragon form, and also specifically the clifftop observatory being a very painful place for her (the last thing is specifically written in the module)

Hey bud. This was my first video of yours. Good job, and much appreciated.
If i may, in the kindest way possible, i feel if you spoke in a lower tone, and smoother rhythm, that it would help your content. I'll check out some more. Thank you for the hard work

If there is one thing the smallfolk are good it it's finding a way to get themselves involved in matters that pertain to dragons.
    One way or another.
Have a war, they'll show up.
    Sometimes for the better.

Really love the condensing and connection of the story you do here! That takes a lot of work and your neutral delivery is useful as either a calming listen or good to quickly get a gist of the adventure if I would want to run it!
Only constructive criticism to give here is your pronunciation of many words such as "gesture", "soot" and "compass" for example. Maybe just check in on the pronunciation of words you aren't familiar with since it brings me right out of the audio when I hear it and have to retstart and refocus lol. Great job otherwise!

@@DnDWalkthrough Your videos are really good! I'm doing Curse of Strahd and want to do another campaign afterwards so these help narrow down plus some inspring ideas. It's not an adventure book but have you thought about Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft and covering the Domains of Dread they mention?
