I have never seen everyone so quiet as when she was talking about her ED. I hope she gets some therapy.
The diet stuff was tough to listen to, but im glad you guys create an open environment where women can get real about these things. It was heart breaking listening to Chloe cause i know that struggle and ESPECIALLY being aware of how i am perceived as a skinny person. It takes a LONG time to get over that and now on the other side i am so thankful.
Thank you for allowing people to be vulnerable, even if it gets tricky. It makes me feel like im not alone.
The audacity of women saying the weight stuff is tough & yall running round talking bout minimum 6'3 lmfao
She actually described an eating disorder
I mean you dont even need to hear he speak to know she has an eating disorder... built like an 11yo boy
A mentally ill porn actress? Madness!!
Kudos to her for being honest. But you guys are also glorifying an eating disorder with that response. This is no hate. I’m a sluggie. Just thought it had to be said. ❤
Yeah like they didn’t have to judge her or comment that they thought it was bad, but they also didn’t have to glorify the eating disorder.
Yes terrifying.
Her shoes are untied
@@lifesquixotic they didn’t glorify it. In fact Esther made a sarcastic response in the end.
I don't know if it is the poor editing or what, but you could make a drinking game out of how many conversations they don't finish. The previous episode was particularly bad (it happened maybe 5 times or more), but since I'm here for this week, the glaring example was when the producer asked Chloe a question, Chloe started to answer it, Annie or Esther said something that wasn't related, and then that topic just disappeared. It wasn't just a natural distraction, move-on from the topic that happens when people talk, but it was a jump into another moment of them talking. It happens all the time on this podcast. Why not edit that question completely out of the podcast? An odd choice to leave the question in the final edit, but then to not answer it or finish that moment and abruptly move onto a joke or something else as if that question was never asked. I like the new production team more, but this particular aspect didn't happen nearly as often with the old team.
That's just there ADHD scatter brain style. usually they steamroller the guess with it, but shes LA enough to join in. I;m from the UK and have vides california alot and around certian people i would just end up being silent becuase if they asked me a question they whould interupt my answer to the point i just gave up.
I noticed this last week and thought that I was tuning out certain parts of the convo lmaoo
I think it's due to the producer interjecting very often - nothing wrong with that but since she's not a part of the show anymore (not visible like before) it kind of distracts
Get a job
@@dogottohaywire7724 they do it all the time though. this example just so happens to directly involve her.
as a long time ED struggle gal i’d just like to say that the that i found that convo incredibly realistic and i think that’s how it should be spoken about. it’s a bummer but what’s more of a bummer is suffering in silence. love you guys
This was a great interview and I hope she gets help with her eating disorder, Chloe is a sweetie🥺❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
I didn’t realize her voice was so deep 😮
Kinda hot.. but I’m Bi, soo lol 😂
Hearing hot girls struggle with food is so hard for a self proclaimed mid girl
"Hot"?
None of them are hot in any way
Calling these 4 a group of hot girls is splitting the hairs a bit no? Lol
Yeah I don’t get the Chloe thing. Sorry guys!
Chloe talkin about diet was so sad to me
Especially when she mentioned how it helps her feel “in control”
She has anorexia. Like straight up. She has an eating disorder and anorexia. She literally said that she wants to be a low bmi and underweight. She has voiced her control issues with food too. It’s a full blown Ed
Facts. Mental illness sucks
No the diet and body image part made me tear up. I’m so thankful you guys are honest and talk about it. We are literally all the same! Thank you for creating this safe space for your viewers!
I don’t know who this girl is but it seems like she really wants to move on w her life beyond corn…I’m sure she is still finding the right words but it just seems like she wants to have identity outside of it
she also do regular acting, she appears in the series "Euphoria"
"Beyond corn" haha I don't know why that's so funny
She doesn’t do it anymore. She said last time was 2 years ago.
@@tesskohout mhmm that’s what I’m saying-she’s seems pretty removed from it
Yeah it's funny how women suddenly feel like they are "beyond it" once they don't look young any more.
They went overboard commending Chloe on her incredibly unhealthy, anorexic diet. I felt sad for her. Yes, good to share, but please don’t applaud/encourage these types of eating mentalities/behaviors
I agree with this! It made me very uncomfortable and feeling so sad that they were making it seem normal.
1000%.
1 slice of pizza for the whole day is a bit wild to hear out loud
What I heard was them commending her honesty, and not her diet. I imagine that was a very intentional choice on their part. Then shared their related experience with eating/body issues. That was a tough position to be in because suddenly she dropped a sad bomb and they maneuvered it tactfully.
@@BrendonInfante I agree that they did a good job finding the positives in her answer (i.e. commending her for her honesty). However, I think they went too far in trying to normalize the disordered eating patterns that Chloe CLEARLY mentions. Instead of framing it as, “Chloe’s behaviour is disordered and it’s sad that she and so many others, including the hosts, feel obligated to control their food and body in dangerous ways”, they reassure her (and their audience) that severe undernourishment/overexercise like that is totally normal and expected and not a problem at all. I know it’s a comedy podcast and not a therapy session but c’mon, have some social responsibility and at least throw out a content warning or resource link or something to your hundreds of thousands of impressionable subscribers…
18:53 “like” 257 times in 10 seconds this is a new LA girl record
Right at the end when Esther says “we love her diet.” Yikes dude…I understand not shaming her and commending honesty but actively praising someone for their eating disorder is a step too far, no?
Ngl I think I’m done after hearing K talk about her old hospice dads dick size in the last episode
She wasn’t. It was sarcasm. That’s obvious, sry u missed the delivery lol
I hope that Chloe Cherry gets help with her eating disorder. Because she seems like a fun down to earth person. Who is clearly trying to move on from her past as a p*rn actress. Anyway's I feel like this was a good episode for the most part. But I have mixed feelings on how Khalyla, Annie, and Esther responded after Chloe shared her eating and health insecurities.
Agree. They were awful.
love chloe but her discussion around 1:06:40 about her dieting was troubling to listen to
Happy New Year slugs! May Esther's baby be the best guest of the year!
Happy new year!
Honesty is cool - but let’s not glorify disordered eating
No one did
I have to agree with some of the comments sharing concern about Chloe’s description of her dieting and feelings about her body. I know you are LA gorlies and the lifestyle is different and what’s considered normal and acceptable is different. With that being said, I am worried about her and hope that anyone who hears this knows that this is someone who is sick and going through something extremely difficult. It’s not just a diet or taking ozembic. This is an eating disorder. Talking about it openly isn’t really the issue. Honesty and transparency about our experiences is valuable of course. The difference is when someone is sharing their experience while they are in it and unaware of their sickness. It would be like if Annie were still drinking and talking about how drunk she gets and how she loves it and has so much fun losing control and blacking out. Compare that to hearing Annie talk about her experiences now that she is out of that and has overcome that. It’s the context that is key. It is really sad to hear Chloe talk about the control and how good it makes her feel to starve herself. Anyone who’s had an eating disorder knows exactly what she’s talking about and it’s a red flag. We all should be feeling concerned and sympathetic for her, because what she’s going through is extremely difficult. Usually people keep their eating disorders in the dark, so hopefully her talking about it will be a step in the right direction for her and hopefully she gets all the love and help and support she needs. ❤
annie saying “it’s like a cop thing”
She always looks like she just took a shower . 💕
Happy New Year 🎉
loved this ep and LOVE CHLOE, please come back! i wish her health and happiness
Too many "like"s. I tried. I couldn't do it. Catch you on the next one.
Same 🤦♀️
Agreed
omg i love her
I actually am really grateful I listened to this. I’ve always been very sexual compared to my girlfriends, never wanted a monogamous partner , didn’t want a boyfriend, I just wanted to hang who I wanted to bang. I also got into sex work quite young and quit after 30 bc of health issues but I loved it. Eventually found someone I did want to be my long term partner who was a perfect match for me in every way including sexual energy and he passed last year. I have zero interest in every being in a relationship again and am pretty sexually anorexic at this point with my health issues but my point is it was really kind of encouraging and interesting to her someone else describe my same behaviours because I never hear other females who feel/behave like I have in terms of sexuality and relationships.
Thanks for sharing Chloe , it’s always nice to hear we are not alone ❤
I think it’s normal to try to save a friend from corn. But once it’s done.. you can’t judge. Glad chloe made it! She’s really down to earth ❤
I recall hearing that a lot of olfactory is based off sensing a different smell. So if someone has had BO for a while, they will stop sensing it.
Honestly girls best episode I have ever watched, speaking from a day one listener, felt so seen feel so understood actually said out loud these are my people and so much laughter so much realness thank you for everything you do I love you all so much
So fookin' dope; i.e. relatable. I thoroughly enjoyed how Chloe Cherry and you all handled this episode. Grew up in a Saab and many Volvo's when they were boxy & still made in Sweden with manual shift.
30:17 ester hiding her face when she kept saying “sprayed out” is just comedy gold
*Annie's interview skills in this one are 10/10* Love you slugs🐌🐌🐌
Chloe is really beautiful
Love it slug moms!!!! happy 2024!!!
I can't take the droning on tone. It seems since the new production team took over, it's so draining now.
She looks strung out
I think she said, “like” one million times.
Ahhhh I had no idea Chloe is from Lancaster! My new hometown hero! Happy to hear she still has fun visiting Lanc☺️
Amish paradise
I have never had a Tesla driver cut me off and disappear they usually slow down lmao
Don’t take a sip every time she says "like,” cos you’ll be smashed out your f**kin’ 💀.
It’s crazy.
I came to say the same thing, it’s too much! 🤦♀️
Who cares
Holy shit, like! It's insane!
It's annoying af.@@bsummers1386
HAPPY NEW YEAR SLUGS 🐌✨
Chloe seems chill af! So glad to have seen this!! One happy sluggy here 🥰
I’m never prepared for the outlandish stuff I’m going to hear here
I ordered a Trash Tuesday banana shirt on December 12th & it never came. Is anyone getting the merch they buy?
The support email isn’t even a real email, I have no way to contact anyone
Chloe came in with the realness ❤
Poor girl you can tell she’s nervous
I had similar opinions as her when I was in my early 20s. I'd be mortified to have those online forever
"If I think a guy is hot I mute him on Instagram and never talk to him again" LLLOOLLL🤣🤣🤣
at least i know what been happening to me all these years! (i thought it was just me living in my parents basement)
Why did i read the comments, literally hadnt noticed how many times they say “like”…. Now i can’t un hear it lol
This guest interests me.
I get that you have to bleep the UA-cam because UA-cam sucks but please don’t bleep the audio version. The bleeps are really unpleasant to listen to.
Running until you lose toenails or have black toenails is the life of a long distance runner. I know
What she meant, but that’s life for us.
This was so fulfilling for my random podcast cravings. Shit was low key awesome. Definitely gonna be looking more of y'all's shit. ❤
can we please get a Trash Tuesday show in Toronto? We would love to have yalll
So is this a censored show now? I'm having a hard time with all the bleeps. WTF? I don't want to give up the show. I'm a sluggie from the start of the Bloodbath days, but the bleeps are lame af.
It does calm down after a certain point. I guess it's an algorithm thing. But holy, that was difficult at first coupled witht the likes. lol.
I think they aren’t supposed to be explicit for the first 10 mins so they can get monetized?
I LOVE HER!!!
I really appreciated the honesty in this one. Two thumbs up
love the ep
She looks sickly .
That's Chloe Cherry? Man she looks different, I never woulda recognized her
This interview is incredible
damaged
❤❤❤
26:53, interesting
After listening to a lot of male dominate podcasts, this is the car talk I never knew I needed
This! 🙌 This pod makes me realize I need girl talk after listening to so many guy podcasts 🐌🐌🐌🐌
You absolutely do not have to be weighed at the doctor. You just tell them you are not doing that today.
This episode was painful to watch. A young woman just describing her very obvious eating disorder and everyone in the room acts as if it’s no biggie…
She may be on meds where they require it
58:39, there is a difference between being gay and an incel.
Who can count how many times cherry said “like” lol
Everyone got quiet when she was talking about her obsession with BMI and controlling her body image. Then cheered her on for talking about it. I feel like this should have been cut from the episode or Khalyla could have talked more about how she changed her mindset from when she was younger. It’s not ok to promote this feeling of bad self image to anyone. It’s not healthy. I’m deeply concerned for her. I think you didn’t want to offend your guest. You all have body image issues you talk about and can relate to her on that but the level in which she was talking about it was extremely concerning.
That’s why people don’t confide these things in condescending people that just want to “fix them”. This is a huge step for her and she should be commended for talking about such a difficult subject. Recovery is not a straight line or like the movies
There’s a skip button for a reason..Anyway should be cheered on for being vulnerable and she should talk about it. If this was an overweight person I doubt you’d even make this comment too.
To be honest, I think that they have a blind spot around this issue, there doesn’t seem to be any awareness on how toxic their relationships with their bodies and food can be and come across on the pod eg Annie taking weight loss medication (on the pod a few weeks ago). It makes me feel really sad, I think they should stay away from the topic until they have more awareness around their own behaviour.
@@alisonpage5994no there’s a way to talk about it with diagnosing, condemning, or judging. You can say “ wow thanks for being honest and sharing, i relate. I know that it’s tough to live in this world and not think about your body but I’ve found personally that i feel so much joy and release in working to overcome that part of my brain. I really respect how you’ve considered it carefully and that you’re aware of that part of your psychology. “ instead of saying things like “we love her diet” ☠️
Ya she legit looks like a crack head from the 80s
Okay I was actually about to comment something really sluggin mean when Chloe was talking about her 5 hour fasting window because it is ridiculous for her to glorify an eating disorder, but the girls responses was actually incredible and really REAL
like level is barely tolerable
I'm having a looooot of trouble with this one.
They broke the like-meter. Pleeeease do some editing or something...I survived about 20 minutes. I thought the last episode was bad
i bounced after 10 min, headed to Harland's pod w Wallace, was not disappointed :)@@undrcroft
Like nine like minutes in and like I’m like out.
