  • I show in this video, how I have customized my sleds. I have been using those now 3 skiing season, and I have made a little improvements after every season. Now the Paris Expedition Sled is in 3.0 version and Pelican sled is in 2.0 version.
    I'm going to show later how those performs in outdoors.

    Thanks for the tip for solving problem 3. I just bought a Paris pulk and noticed the risk of the front diving in deep snow - will fix that now!

    Kiitos! Hyviä vinkkejä, kuten vetolenkit rinkan vyöhön.

    Hello, I'am making my own pulka with a sled, and probably will buy a paris sled soon (not very easy to find in France).
    Thank you for the video.
    I will probably follow the idea of the two pipes of 20 and 16 mm inside.
    Going to the shop now, and starting the work to be ready for the snow.
    Winter is coming...

    Excellent tutorial. I am thinking of using long loops along the sides rather than rings or carabiners. Thanks

      Thanks. I actually changed that and now I have longer loops. It works really good!

    this is fun problemsolving . I use a kids pulk for sled as its light weight and seem to keep course, better than icefishig sleds. guess due to it having the 2 rail shape under it so Thats fine. Ill try the belt ties thogh :) mine are a bit bugging

      its duct tape -like for a vent/duct in an air conditioner system. Duck is a bird.

    Thanks for the info. I’m curious to know why you chose the Pelican and Paris sleds rather than Fjellpulken Transporter 155.

    • @caide
      @caide  5 років тому

      I didn't find that Fjellpulken from any of our store and it seems to be very expensive.

    Does the short cordage you added allow your carabiners to stay connected to your poles better? I can see how they would silence the connection, how has it been working?

    • @caide

      Steve Fontaine Yes, now it worked perfectly! I can't find any more improvments.

    Vieläkö kyntää, vai korjautuiko nokan nostolla?

    • @caide
      @caide  5 років тому +2

      Kyllä se hiukan auttoi. Ei kyntänyt viime reissulla, vaikka pehmoista puuteria paljon olikin. Uskoisin nyt olevan hyvä.
