The charge outrages fees and it is impossible to find a repair technician outside of the company. I will never buy another Miele appliance again.

This is very helpful. Today I cleaned my brew unit and now can not reinsert the unit. I have followed your tips but there must be another reason it won't slide entirely back and I can't re-lock it in position.. Any ideas?
try powering off and power back on the coffee machine, 2nd make sure the arrows on the brew unit are lining up before placing it back in. i have another video showing how to reinstall the brew unit

Hi Andrew, thank you for checking out my video. A push water container means there is either a clog within the water path lines or components, such as the water pump or ceramic valve.
thank s for great video - quick question: I have not used mine for a while as I travelled out of the country but now I turn it on and it's telling me all the time "to push the water tank to the end"?¿ i have push all the way, checked the connection to the water tank, but the machine is constantly saying it's not pushed and water does not get pumped out of it. being that the coffee unit hasn't been used in a while it is possible that the coffee/hot water pump is either stuck or needs to be prime or the water path has a clog.

I have a question, it looks like my coffee beans are not going down to the grinding section... my coffee is very weak and I see that in the waste bin I am not collecting the coffee pellets like I normally do. Have you cleaned the coffee grinding section to unclog it? It is spinning with a high pitched whine which means coffee beans are not coming down the chute. Thanks.
Great video - thank you for an excellent instruction. I have an error that says push the water container in until it engages. The water container is all the way in and I have tested the pump and it is pumping water all the way to the brew unit. Any ideas on what to try next?
there is a clog somewhere in the water path, multiple components and lines needed to be check and tested. I suggest getting a Miele tech out to fully diagnose.
Remove the ground coffee container from the top left you will see a flap for the ground coffee chute. That's where you can place the ground coffee. Note: only I level spoon of ground coffee per cup.

@@SocialEvents2012 stays away from oily beans or flavored beans, they will clog up the grinder. you can try sticking a small brush through the coffee chute and try cleaning it that way if that doesn't work then you will have to remove the grinder and clean it manually. if you are not sure how to remove the grinder it's best to get a tech out to clean it.
I've got a cva 4066 and the coffee is no longer coming out of the spout, it goes mostly into the drip trey. I removed the back and I can see it coming out but I cant figure out where the blockage might be in the front or back. Any ideas?
@@vjohndiy thanks, I happen to have a new brew unit in the box and it looked identical (although it didnt have the same part number) so I switched them out but it didnt work either. I also have two other units that are working, I suppose I could grab the brew units from this to test your solution. See any problem using brew units from a CVA 6805 or CVA-4062?
The brew units are interchangeable, no issues there. If you are still having issues then its possible an internal fault. You may need to have a technician out to check it out
If you are trying to run the descaling functions, then yes. When running any cleaning functions, you will have to fill the container as instructed in your user manual and on the display at the time of cleaning until the clean cycle is done. If you don't, then the machine will be stuck in that clean function.
It's not the hinges, there is a rubber seal on the door that connects to the brew unit when the door is closed, that's grabbing and causing the door to be stuck. You will need to pull it with a little effort chances are the seal may get damaged in the process. You will need to lubricate the seal with food grade Silicone
Hello Michel, have you tried cleaning the main dispenser, usually, the tray will get sticky with coffee and milk will splash up and make it sticky. here is a link on how to clean the main dispenser, ua-cam.com/video/51FNYhtSZ0M/v-deo.html if after cleaning the main dispenser and still getting the F233 error you will probably need to a technician come and take a look.
Hi, My CVA6805 has an error 77 - Google says its a ceramic valve problem? - I can by a placement online #9630352 - Is the easy to change this or can it only be done by a Miele-guy ?
If you are getting the message to empty the drip tray while descaling the machine even though the drip tray is empty. You will need to remove the drip tray and brush the contacts really well with a toothbrush 🪥 using little 🧼 and wash it out. NOW If the message still comes up to empty drip tray they there's a leak on the inside of the machine or build up of old wet coffee grounds on the contact connections inside the machine. At this point, you will need to get a technician to take the machine apart.

I would say once a month
i find them after 3 years, people just trash it, i clean them, small repairs, they last 20 years.

It sounds like the grinder is clogged. You will need a technician to come out to take a look

Are there more fittings inside the unit somewhere that needs maintenance lubrications?
the brew unit, I suggest you remove and wash out once a month and use silicone food grade grease and grease all movable parts

looks like you have a clogged brew unit, try replacing the brew unit and avoid using any flavored or oily beans.
