      I use freewell filters mostly and for this it was probably an ND 16

    Can you achieve the same results with the Air 2 S with the aperture 2.8 vs the aperture f8 and the 16 ND filter that you used flying toward the helicopter and the sun in front of the drone?.

    • @JakeSloan
      @JakeSloan  2 роки тому

      Yes you can you will just need a stronger ND filter.

    Hi Jake, when I fly sideways my footage looks kind of choppy. Do you have some tips on how to set things and why this happens.. Thanks, Dave...

      Make sure your sideways flights are fairly slow and smooth.

    Sorry if you talk about this in another video, but on average how much footage do you take on a shoot and what's the usual length of the finished product? Or an approximate ratio of footage shot vs footage used

    • @JakeSloan
      @JakeSloan  Рік тому +1

      Oh man it varies so much. For a tv show typically I’ll shoot 1-2 TB (a few hours) of footage I’ve the course of a full day and they might use 1-2 min of that. For UA-cam stuff I usually shoot 1hr to 1.5hrs of footage and edit it down to 8-12min

      I'm quite well underatnd theory but I need to choose what set of ND filters should I buy for crazy bright sunny days in mountains. Like when you cannot even look without cat 3 or cat 4 lenses on your eyes.
      Here ua-cam.com/video/-8Q5YmwznNs/v-deo.html, you put ND64 in a day without even direct sunlight. ND64 is typicaly on the end of line in common ND filters sets (except ND1000 of course). I would expect that there are much much more light in snow mountains, expecially on high altitudes. And I don't understand what ND numbers I should get for that conditions.

      @@vldbel freewell has packs that come with all the filters you'd need for every type of shooting, better to have too many than just one thats not fully optimal
