The mid 90s were a very exciting time to be a Packer fan! We were so used to see this team being mediocre for so many seasons aside from when they went 10-6 under Lindy Infante in '89-'90. Ron Wolf, Brett Favre, Reggie White and Mike Holmgren really helped turn this team around.
The memory I have from this season is Sterling Sharpe getting injured late in the season and not being able to play after 1994. He was EASILY on track to become a HOF WR. In fact, just a couple more seasons akin to what he had produced between 1988-94 (7 seasons) would have locked him in on Canton (especially if Sharpe would have been a part of either 1996 or 97). Unfortunately, the way the HOF voting process is set up, Sharpe is highly unlikely to see enshrinement in the HOF (unless Shannon Sharpe becomes the sole HOF voter somehow). However, this side of Jerry Rice, there was not a better WR during the years 1988-94. Sharpe could be a great possession receiver like Cris Carter; yet he also stretch out the field for long receptions and big plays. He helped make other receivers better and Robert Brooks was one primary beneficiary.
Terrell Davis had only four good seasons and that guy's in the HOF. Sterling played longer and was good from Day One. He's penalized for being on crappy teams.
They didn't retire his number either, several other receivers have worn 84 since him, Rison, Javon Walker, Bill Sheorder, TE Humphrey and a few others.
Technically I kind of dislike the Packers' throwback uniforms. As a Bears fan who does have a nice admiration for Green Bay, I rather like to see the Packers' current uniforms.
If memory serves me correctly, the last time the Packers had that big of a margin of victory over the Bears before 1994 was the 49-0 romp in Green Bay in 1962.
My first Packers game was the Lambeau game against the Bucs. A big thrill but really disappointed that they were wearing those gawd-awful throw-back jerseys. The NFL and the Packers really have to shit-can those jerseys. I've been back several times since but if a person makes only one pilgrimage to Lambeau in their life for a game, they shouldn't be subject to those pukey uniforms.
Reggie White R.I.P
May God bless Reggie White!

Haaa! 1:19 Wayne Larrivee as a Bears radio announcer!!! Still the best in the business.

Gale sayers is in the HOF and he only player 6 years
Dido, and they let Owens is. HOF has become political.
I predict he’ll (Sterling Sharpe) finally get his just due in 2024, 30 years from his final record-breaking season.
84 should be in the HOF!! I mean, the man didn’t even practice because of turf toe; he only played football on game day. WTF?

LOL at 14:40. Has to be the last moment in time when Brett Favre had the lowest interception rate in GBP history.
Yes, Favre was awesome but people forget that he also led the league in interceptions!
Brett favre, sterling sharpe, reggie white, Leroy butler, Sean Jones, and Bryce paup

Lions never beat Favre one time at Lambeau field.
Brett Favre was the John Wayne of quarterbacks! Correct me if I'm wrong!
Can you post more Packers Yearbook videos? 1992, 1996, 1997, etc.
Check out my man Richard Waldrup, Sports Odyssey for content.

Did I hear a guy named McMichael at about 9:50 for the Packers? Wasn't a guy named McMichael for the Bears? Maybe they're related.

How did the Packers fare in the 1994 playoffs? I was just wondering because as a Bears fan I do have an immense respect for the Packers.
We beat the Lions in the wild card game holding Barry Sanders to negative 1 yard rushing...then we lost to the cowboys the next week
BigBadaboom414 Okeedokee thanks for the info
