Welcome back Eldred @Veloharmony I took a month off from training indoors even though I do my weekend rides to keep some fitness. I bought a new Cannondale Synapse 2021 edition & now I’m purchasing another Synapse 2023, I couldn’t pass up this nice offer for a Carbon bike with the Smart sense feature for $2600. This my gift to me deservedly knowing that riding bikes is what brings me pleasure, plus to see so many of my workmates pass away within the pass 3 yrs and not getting to do the thing they love is quite sad. Keep riding & keep up the excellent work. Happy Holidays to you & your family brother 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
this video is perfect timing. I am just coming back from surgery. Had to take 12 weeks off the bike. have to start slow for the next few weeks to get back to training .
Glad you're back! Im also back on boke, but instead use the lower gears on my MTB and in the woods, that was less care about traffic, being one to nature! 🥂 Cheers to a great 2024 Eldred!!🤜🏿🤛🏿
Thanks for the mini post. I fell into the similar situation. I just took time off from the bike, it was not scheduled. I’m also attempting the rapha 500, wish me luck.
You can do it! I took today off -Christmas and plan to ride 85KM each day for the next six days. Keep the effort moderate and enjoy the time out there.
This is a great video. I am faithful to getting my 100 miles a week in, but this is the time of the year where the tempt. dips below the 40s and for me that's just TOO cold. It's always good to have a plan for when the weather breaks a bit. It doesn't have to be 80 and clear for me. Normally I'll ride as long as it's about 45 and above. So when that comes, I'll be ready to rock. Going slow and gradually getting back into it, is the best plan.

Mos Def. It’s always best to be flexible when necessary.
