No! That is not how it works. It is called a UPS for a reason. It doesn't need to be disconnected from the DC at intervals.. A Wi-Fi UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a device that provides backup power to Wi-Fi routers and other network equipment during power outages or failures. Unique components in the Wi-Fi UPS 1. Battery: Stores energy for backup power. 2. Power Converter: Converts DC power from the battery to AC power for the router. 3. Charging Circuit: Recharges the battery when mains power is available. 4. Power Sensor: Monitors mains power and switches to battery power during outages. NOTE: It contains built-in Battery Management System(BMS) that prevents overcharging, discharge, and improve the battery overall performance. Here is how it works.... 1. Normal Operation: The Wi-Fi UPS receives mains power and supplies it to the router. 2. Power Outage: The power sensor detects the outage and switches to battery power. 3. Backup Power: The power converter supplies AC power from the battery to the router. 4. Automatic Switchback: When mains power returns, the UPS switches back to mains power and recharges the battery. In conclusion, there is no need to manually disconnect the Wi-Fi UPS from the DC when batterylife is full or not in use.
While you are charging the power bank what happens when you have things to do with internet? One will have to wait for the power bank to be full first?
What do I do if my adaptor got bad and I bought new two adaptors, they are working well with the router but charging the power bank it’s still showing red for hours, meaning it’s not charging
Hi Christony. Likely the adapter is not compatible or you have not switched on the button beside the power Pack, because it has to be on to charge. If this doesn't resolve after this, kindly Whatsapp us... 09011999997. Thanks
