What’s funny is that with this run where you bypass Joker capturing Batman that means he didn’t actually need the cure. Batman just drank some of it just to flex on Joker
Bro you didn't play the game did you?Bruce took blood from Rasa ghul and injected it inside himself so he wouldn't die it would temporarily heal him as it contains lazarus But he drank some of the real Cure that Freeze made cause the lazarus can have side effects. Goes to show you never paid attention to anything in the video.

The story changes so much for speed runs like now protocol 10 is activated because bats got onto the tower pretty much instantly and bats took the cure solely for shits and giggles

It’s crazy because that’s still way longer that it took for Batman to succumb to it. Like Joker had it for a good 6-12 months before finally succumbing to its effects
@@deathmachine726 there is a theory out there that Batman had a bad blood transfusion. His and Jokers blood isn’t compatible. It can kill someone in hours if untreated. That’s why Batman is dying a lot quicker than the joker. After he gets the blood of the demon the blood transfusion is cured and that’s why we don’t see him have symptoms for the rest of the game.
Imagine watching this stream. Imagine going to the bathroom for 20 minutes to shower. Imagine coming back after only missing for 20 mins. Imagine realizing that WR has been beaten while you were gone.
I love imagining during speedruns that the character in question, in this case Batman, is very purposefully going at lighting speed. Like he is cutting off his conversations with Alfred or Hugo Strange, or ignoring Catwoman being held hostage because he's some omnipresent being that knows everything will be solved by the next game.
I definitely lost health during Clayface, you take damage on purpose there, and it's basically impossible to not get hit while going for the phase skip at the end. The glitches may look easy, but it takes a fair amount of practice to get good at them, and even then doing them fast is not easy. In particular, the jump onto the dumpster near the beginning, and getting the zip into the elevator first try are both quite difficult.
@@d.e.564 Enemies only dodge projectiles when they can see you. Snipers long sight lines are balanced by a smaller viewing cone. In the game reality, they're looking down a scope. Therefore, the first 4 guys he takes down don't see him. The smokebomb also resets enemies seeing you, which allows them to be grappled again even though you've already been spotted.

Funny arkham city was the game that immersed me into the arihamverse 8 years ago on xbox, introduced to the batman mythos and Lore of batman. Had a big smile on my face while playing this game on late nights.
Nope they would get kidnapped tortured and killed. This is what happened to Jason and Barbara. This is what happened to Barbara, Tim, Nightwing in Knight. It would take longer and make Batmans job more difficult

This is a NG+ file that has Batclaw Disarm already unlocked. He's pulling the sniper rifles out of their hands and off the building. You can't pull enemies off ledges... in this game. In Arkham Origins you can. They removed that ability in Knight because it allowed you to straight up murder people.
-Catwoman is still in the court -Dr. Stacy Baker is still in the Steel Mill -Harley Quinn is waiting at the church (with the hostages ofc) -Mr. Freeze is locked in the museum -and lastly, Bane is still finding TITAN containers
I just came back here for this game, alongside Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight releasing for Nintendo Switch, this Fall. 😅 Let's hope the glitches for speedrun still works for Switch, once the Trilogy is release. 🤣
Did they even disclose what the final unfounded Easter egg was for this game? The one they said was in a early demo version or something? Always think about and spent ages trying to find it

I never thought about pulling the snipers off the building with the batclaw at the theater
It may only work once or twice-many of the enemies are good at dodging the Batclaw.
It works every time if you do it right
I did it in a non speedrun, and the did not fall off but their weapons did. It was hilarious to watch.
That, and that you could use explosive gell when clayface is near the bombs to hurt him.
