I have to say thank you for all the great content and the help you have provided with your videos. You have helped me in several different categories. I appreciate your efforts in sharing all the great information.
@@bcoorough appreciate it, man! Thanks for the comment. I love being able to help fellow hunters and hearing feedback like this. Good luck out there and stay tuned for more 🤙🤙
Definitely like the way you mount you gun and then walk with it on the tripod. I have found it frustrating trying to manage both with a shoulder strap then have the caller as well. Thanks for the tips!! Would love a video about the box set up as well!
Very well organized. Easy access from the driver side of vehicle. Have you considered adding a shoulder strap onto the caller to free up your hand, so you could hold monocular and scan while walking to the next stand? I often times have to walk a couple hundred yards from my vehicle, and have walked up on some dogs I wouldn't have seen if I hadn't been scanning when cresting over a hill.
Thanks! I don’t have much of a walk at almost all of my spots. I always scan the field first before getting the rifle out. I used to have one on an old call but took it off.
First I love the glasses ❤. Great set up and would love to see the box set up . Now take us hunting Buddy we got some super cold weather coming be safe and great job Sir.
After I’ve attached my rifle to the tripod, I like to give’er a good shove into the side of my truck A. To make sure the rifle is attached securely to the tripod and B metal slamming metal is basically Mrs. Cottontail to coyotes. Your method seems ok, though haha
😂😂. Looked back and expected to see you laying in the field with your head cut open. You came around the back of the truck just like nothing happened. Coyotes weren’t primitive to Indiana that night so it didn’t matter.
Man I got a question for you. How far from your pickup do you normally walk to make a stand? I hunt some real flat areas where coyotes can see my pickup coming from a mile away. No trees or anything to hide behind. How far would you suggest I walk away from the pickup to start calling?
Not very far at all. I can see my truck from 95% of my setups. I don’t think coyotes can see as far as we think at night. If it’s moonlight I will setup a little further away.
Such a bummer to watch this great content from Canada. Silencers- Illegal , Night Hunting- Illegal, AR's - Illegal. Add to the list every kid in the area got a foxpro over the past few years and let it blare for hours on end. It's gotten so bad that I had a bait pile up for close to a month, was seeing 4-5 coming in at a time on my cameras. Made the mistake of taking the foxpro with me, and even with just a couple 20 second plays of female sub howl nothing returned to the bait pile for 3 days after. When they did return they came in at 3-5 AM when the stupid laws in this country won't let you shoot.. and it seems that they know it. I've managed to shoot only 3 this year total. 2 of them were around the 400 yard mark in open field, spotted em driving by.. they are so pressured that as soon as the truck slows down even at 400 yards they stood up and started to trot out of the field.

I really like the way the ball head clamps to the Swiss arca so easily.

Don’t you have to have your gun in a case of driving down the road? Or is that just a Michigan law?
Must be a Michigan thing.
