Another study technique that works for me is first getting into a mindset. When I am not studying I prefer to be more quiet about my skills. When I do study I always positively reinforce myself. It sounds a little cringe but I always tell myself that ‘I am the best and I can achieve anything’, people say that it can inflate our sense of self but when you are alone and studying, people’s opinions shouldn’t matter. Make sure to pump yourself up and show how great you are to yourself.

Hi Emil. You don’t understand how helpful your videos have been, as a current grade 11 student (somewhat equivalent to year 12 in Australia), I cannot thank you enough for these informative videos. If you don’t mind me asking, I’m planning to study medicine, and I’m trying to keep my options as open as possible by applying to both Australian/New Zealand Universities and Uk universities. However, for the majority of the universities in Australia and New Zealand, they require the UCAT ANZ and not the UK UCAT. How did you apply to these Australian universities from your UCAT UK exam? Thank you so much, apologies for the long question 😅

I'm from Australia, so i sat the UCAT ANZ. The tests are exactly the same though. You might have to just make sure that you're doing the test on the right platform

@@EmilEddy That’s great, and did you use any platforms like medify? Because I’m planning on doing so, and they have different UCAT practises like (GPB, ANZ, and AUD), I’m not sure if that’s just for the currency change or the actual UCAT exam for different continents? Appreciate it

You can check the medicine cutoff score on the Monash website. The fee each year depends on whether you are a domestic or international student. For domestic students it is roughly $12k and international can be $70-80K
