My wife and I haven’t been to Boston in years. I remember riding on the Green, Red & Blue Lines in our various trips. I think it was the Green Line station at Govt. Center where the tracks were surrounded with wood and you could walk back and forth across them to get where you needed to go.
Had the chance of riding these a few times on my way to work, They're really smooth and look pretty modern. Do kinda miss the guy who speaks in *Bold text*
Nice video. Remember when the Green Line train color scheme was green & white? Looked so much sharper than green and dull gray. Never understood why they changed it. Is gray paint cheaper than white paint? Anyhow those new GL trains look great. Much nicer than the Breda ones, imho.
used to work for the T...these new trains should have been out at least 6-7 years ago....but the T is an equal opportunity employer 🤦🏻♂️....which means most employees aren’t competent

The Siemens blue line cars and the new orange line cars sound very similar when they start to accelerate

Boston, the oldest big city in the US, does a terrific job of keeping itself up.

All the other lines have stainless steel cars now. The green line scheme is an attempt at consistency.

5:40 Why do they have shades covering the rear end window? Is it to prevent the driver at the other end from being distracted?
