But some of our Johorean friends who stay and work at Kuala Lumpur, most of them have already forget and doesn't like to know about their own country Johor anymore.

Yusof Ishak is our first president and as such he is the face of every dollar bill in our currency. I rmbr there was someone that said Yusof Ishak was kinda sneaky and would get away from the istana and eat at the hawker place with his honour-de-aide

Yusof Ishak Institute is named after Singapore’s first president. Not many know that the late president was a descendant of Dato’ Jenaton, one of Penang’s founding fathers. He fought off Siamese invaders on that island which at the time belonged to the Sultan of Kedah.

@@zulfiq3999 johoreans need to be smarter. The state is rich and full of resources but it is still so undeveloped as the federal govt is slowing johor down. Johor needs to join singapore and have wise leadership from singapore
