Duracell or Ever ready only for me. Brand new ones each season (the old ones are good for remote controls) I've got an Arva Pro too. While it has a bigger search area, I wouldn't max it out on a search just in case. I've got the alpine course rse, signed up a few years ago while he was still piecing it together as a course. It's really good and concise. Ortovox also provide information but not in as clear a way as alpine
@FreeFloFloss ❤️ for remembered Ng the knee. Got a consultant appointment soon and if they sign my skydiving medical, I'll be booking some ski trips immediately. I'm techy and I really like the Arva BT pro. I like how the app reminds me to remove the batteries at the end of the season and has some educational aspects to it. For me, I like how it works and find it easy to use. I've fortunately not had to use it in anger and I really hope it stays that way. I'm gonna head of my hands up to going to places where I should have taken the holy trinity but just went on blind faith. I wouldn't be without it now as; be no idea how much luck is left in the bag!
Let me know if you have any other questions on transceivers ... comment below 👇

@FreeFloFloss me too!! But I'm sure to be back the following winter for adventures - with a refreshed transceiver.....

@@mattwoodford1820 Good luck with the consultant. Some of skiing off piste is a number game..
Why aren't transceivers capable of having the firmware updated by the user like a mobile phone? The software isn't that complex!
Great question ..I don`t really know the answer to that one. Maybe transceivers aren`t in so much demand?
