THANK YOU!! My APAP should have been set to 5 to 14, but the DME set it up for 15 to 18 It is fixed now thanks to this tutorial. CAMPING THIS WEEKEND!!!! Thanks fellow HoseHead!!
Once again your content delivers. Finally got the travel machine and this video made it super easy to set it up using my airsense 10 #s. Hauling a full sized CPAP through the airport sucks😎
I'm so glad this thing has a minimum ramp up setting and the maximum cuz I hate when it starts out with nothing cuz it's so hard to freaking breathe for me cuz I have severe sleep apnea my neck surgery and I hate when it starts up the slow ramp I have to start out with some pressure before I'll even be able to fall asleep! This thing looks Rad!!
This video is awesome! Thank you. I received my Z2 and it was acting funky. You've got me on track and the machine is working the way I'm used to a CPAP operating. New Subscriber.
I love this little machine, been using it for years for backpacking and travel. When I backpack I use the mediastrom 12v battery and have my pressure set to 10. I can get 2 nights out of it if I wait until around 10 at night to turn it on. I have never had any problems with the Z2.
This video is a perfect tutorial which I watch several times to adjust. Only problem is that I can't get into cpap mode when pushing up if I chose apap 1, 2, 3. It goes back to apap 1. Edit: nevermind, I got it fixed with going down instead of up. By the way, I am immensely satisfied with this machine. As an apneu patient it was impossible for me to stealthcamp without the Z2. It features in several of my videos too

Thanks for the review Nick. I do alot of off the grid camping in a swag and one of these would be awesome. It would certainly be better than lugging my dreamstation around.

Ross Having same issues, pushing air at an inappropriate pressure. Returned the unit, as instructed, told me it was all OK. Started the machine and immediately same issue, pushing high pressure, not fixed at all.
My machine provides the maximum pressure relief on APAP1 setting and minimum pressure relief on APAP3 (opposite to the video)... I find exhalation easier on APAP1.

Thanks so much for this video! I had so much trouble getting help with setting mine up and your video was a game changer! I do have one question. On the lower left side of the screen I have a black rectangular shape that says reminder. What is that reminder about??
Thanks for the video, it help get me up to speed on the Z2 setup! The Z2A is not quiet. The sound level dB may be low depending on if it's a A or C weighted measurement which is not specified AND they do not specify how many meters the measurement was taken. With that said, I use my machine @ 12.5 setting and it sounds like a high reving motorcycle going through the gears down the road @ 12.5. Thankfully the muffler helps a little but the noise is still transmitted through the tubing. Because "Philips" has screwed us all, and it's getting hard to find any CPAP machine for sale... I suppose I'll settle with the Z2A for what it is. Going camping this weekend.
Hi Frank, quiet is a very relative term. When it comes to travel cpap machines it is relatively quiet compared to the rest of the travel cpap machines. Cheers
agreed Phillips has screwed us all. I loved my phillips portable and quiet. I do not like the Z2 at all. Find it very loud and pressure feels like its pumping into my lungs (in spite of adjustments) and that i am drowning
Thanks for the videos! My problem with the Z2 is not noise from the machine but the air noise from my Respironics mask (on the top of my head close to my ears). If I plug the same mask into my dreamstation home unit, it is significantly quieter. I’d say the Z2 is 10 times louder than when plugged into my home unit. I’m ready to get rid of it and try a different portable model because of it. Or just pack up my main unit when I travel. Have you ever heard anything along these lines about the z2?
Hi John, i hear this a lot in face i switched masks myself when using the Z2. Those masks with the hollow tubes are not great with it. I use the ResMed p10 mask and it's much much better with the Z2. I also make sure i'm using a 22mm tube (not the slim line 15mm ones) and i use the 6ft. I also use the Q-Lite muffler and this helps too. Cheers
Two minutes and eight seconds into this video and I got my answer. Great. Now, all you gotta do is a Brooklyn accent and I'll understand you a lot better. Thanks! :)
Hey bro, turn OFF the 'auto on/off' as these settings are problematic on all devices and for the the pressure ramping etc, just put it in cpap mode or set a tight automatic range ie min 9cm, max 11cm etc. Cheers

Thank you for this video. The Breas people recommended it. I will contact them because the machine does not switch to APAP. Where do you purchase and how do you use the batteries? I rented their battery last year and it was so heavy and stopped working. Have loved your videos ever since getting a CPAP 3 years ago and rented the Z2 based on your video. Thanks again!💜
Great, and helpful videos. I bought a Z2 for a friend and he let me know that he’s getting a fail 33 error. I found that presently, many users are reporting 33 fails on stored and lightly used machines. Seems to be battery failure. There might be grounds for a class action…
I see that it has a built-in humidifier. In my research it mentions getting the moisture from the users "breath"...does it require the user to use a full face (nose and mouth) mask OR can it also used with a nasal pillow (this is what I use). Look forward to your reply. Regards.
Hi Eric, it doesn't have a built in humidifier. I have not had any feedback regarding 'moisture from breathe' but that would most likely be from a user with a full face mask. You can use any mask with the Z2 including nasal pillows. Cheers
I have a "Fail 3" coming up when setting up my machine. I haven't even been able to use it at all since I have got it. Can you make a video on how to fix this issue? Many thanks in advanced!
Does this sound like a software problem or hardware problem? I slept with my new Z2 auto CPAP last night. There was a strange problem. When i first took it out of the box and tested it the auto cpap (apap 2 setting) seemed to work. The display was showing 13 to 14 in pressure and fluctuating around. However once i changed the range from 7 to 20, the pressure of apap2 suddenly became fixed at 7 all the time. When i changed it back to 5 to 20 as it originally was, it then became stuck at 5. The auto feature doesn't seem to work anymore. Its always fixed at the lowest setting now. Do u know why? Is this some firmware bug? How do i fix this? Any idea? I hope its not a hardware issue.
Hi there, hmmm that's a tricky one. Remember that the pressure will only increase due to sleep apnea so if you're lying awake looking at the machine it really shouldn't be fluctuating much as no one has sleep apnea whilst they're awake. Check the average pressure after a night sleep and it will probably show you that the pressure is changing when you're asleep. If it's not then you might need to speak with a consultant or resetting the device to factory settings / upgrading the firmware
@@CPAPReviews When you use auto cpap setting, does it start at the lowest setting and then if the sensors sense obstruction in your breathing, then it gradually increases the pressure? For the last few nights I noticed it's been doing that. I set it at 5 to 20, and it starts at 5, then later while I'm asleep it goes up to 8 or 9. When I wake up and check it, it's usually at around 8. So I presume it increases during the night when it senses obstruction in your throat right? If so, maybe my machine is working normally as it should after all? And the initial 13 pressure was just a fluke or an attempt to clear the airways first when first out of the box?

I haven’t been able to find anything about this problem in the owners manual or through a Google search. Any assurance would be appreciated. I love this machine but cannot rely on it.

Your video showed pressure relief in APAP mode, APAP-1 through APAP-3. In CPAP mode you showed CPAP-1 but is there CPAP-2 and CPAP-3 for pressure relief? I have the old HDM Z1 that just died. I use a CPAP at home and for travel but am considering the Z2 Auto in CPAP mode. I just want to make sure it has a pressure relief option. HDM sent me a firmware upgrade for the Z1 that opened up three levels of pressure relief.

Thanks for the video. My Z2 was locked in APAP-1 mode so I unlocked it like you showed in the video. But I can't figure out how to aet it back to APAP. By using the up and down arrows, it only cycles through CPAP-1 thru CPAP-3 and never gives an APAP option. Any advice? Thanks.
Question for you Nick. Can Nitelog tell me if my mom has sleep apnea in theory if I hook her up to my Z2 CPAP device and used Nitelog to monitor the data. Would that be able to diagnose if she has sleep apnea? Would that be sufficient? Or would only the OSCAR software be able to do that? Can the program tell how often you choke or gasp for air during sleep? If my Nitelog app can tell how many times that sleep apnea has occured with green, yellow and red bars, then in theory I can test if someone has apnea with it right? For example, if I hook my mom up with it, and the data report the next day shows that she has yellow or red bars, that means she has apnea more than 5 times per hour (yellow bar) or more than 15 times per hour (red bar) right? According to the apnea chart that is. So in theory that should work right?
Hi there, yes that's a great question that you raise! You could certainly use Auto CPAP to give you an idea if someone has apnea and you could do this a couple of ways. 1. You could just check out the pressure statistics to see if indeed the machine was increasing the pressure throughout the night. If it was then we could assume that it was doing so in response to sleep disordered breathing however it doesn't give us really accurate diagnosis. 2. You could fix the pressure at the lowest level (4cm) and then check the AHI after a nights use. If the AHI is above 10 then there's likely some sleep disordered breathing but once again, probably not super accurate diagnosis. Personally i'v always considered sleep apnea testing to be a bit of scam. Just another way for doctors / specialists / hospitals / clinics to make more money. 95% of the time, if the diagnosis is positive they just recommend trialling CPAP therapy anyway so why not just let people trial it for a few months and see if it improves their sleep / wellbeing etc and you could also use the data from the machine to guide you. Moreover, the testing process is flawed in so many ways and i can guarantee you that if you give the same raw sleep recordings to two different sleep techs the report / diagnosis will be different. In the next 3-5 years i'm sure there will be HUGE changes in the way sleep apnea is diagnosed. I'm sure there must be some companies working with the apple watch etc. Thanks for your great question! You're spot on really

A ramp setting is a gradual increase in the pressure between two set pressure values over a set time period. Example is if i have a starting pressure of 4 and my min auto pressure set to 7 and a ramp of 30 minutes. The pressure will gradually increase from 4 to 7 over that 30 minute period. After that 30 minutes the pressure will then be determined by the auto algorithm between the AUTO MIN & AUTO MAX Level. It's also handy if you want to use the Z2 in fixed pressure cpap mode. IE, you could set your pressure to 10 and then have a ramp period that helps you get off to sleep at a lower pressure before the device gradually builds up to 10. Hope this helps. THank you

Any recommendations on a solar charging system that can hang to my pack with hiking and charge the battery? Can’t find any videos out there for long distance hikers with sleep apnea. I’m doing the Tahoe Rim trail in a couple months and need to find a charging solution for multiple nights out.
Hey mate, what battery system are you using? I'm in the process of developing a battery + solar cpap setup that can run the Z2 for around 5 days on a single charge. Pretty awesome. Should be ready in about 1-2 months. Take care. Nick
@@positivevibes7131 the problem with the Ankers are that they primarily power by USB port. The battery he is using in this video will last you 2-8 hour sleeps at 10 pressure and then you can charge your phone or emergency signaling device (Garmin) with the remainder of the battery juice. I've seen long distance hikers (PCT) that carry 3 of these batteries to get 6 nights of sleep and then recharge in town.

I just bought this APAP and was hoping to use my Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite battery, but the input end doesn't fit. Do you know if there are any converters or cables that will allow using this battery with the Z2? Many thanks!
I’m in the US but enjoy your reviews especially as relates to camping. I got the Z2 Auto Travel APAP recently, partially based on your comments, to replace the AirSense 10 when in our truck camper. Also got the PowerShell. A few questions now that I have used the Z2. 1. As the other user noted the pressure seems to stay at the minimum setting with minor fluations during the night per Nitelog. My pressure range is set to 11-17 per prescription which worked well with the AirSense. However with the Z2 the pressure rarely averages above 11. I experimented with a minimum pressure of 6 and it rarely deviated from that. So, why is this? How does the pressure reading of the Z2 compare to the AirSense? 2. The PowerShell “extended life battery” sucks. You mentioned that the Medistrom Pilot-12 Lite Battery recharges in 2 hours which I assume is AC. What is the recharge time from a 12-v source? How do you keep your Z2 running on extended camping trips? 3. My impression is that the Z2 has far too many parts. What do you use to keep them organized and protected while traveling? Sorry for the long post but I’m trying to decide whether to keep the Z2.
Hi There, can you let me know what your average was on the airsense? If the pressure isn't fluctuating there could be something wrong with the actual flow sensor on the device and so it's not picking up the changes in your breathing. I would probably get it looked at. It's only a tiny little bit of rubber tube that connects to the flow sensor and this can be dislodged from time to time. The only negative feedback i receive regarding the powershell is the long recharge time. The pilot takes about 3 hours to charge from a car and you can recharge it from solar also on camping trips. I keep my Z2 in a travel bag www.z2cpap.com.au/product/z2-premium-carry-case/. It's similar to the airmini travel bag but a little bit bigger to fit the powershell and other components. You probably just need to the have the Z2 looked at :-). Mine goes from about 6 to 9 which suits me fine
@@CPAPReviews The ResMed myAir app does not show the pressure so I cannot compare the data. However, the AirSense feels like it varies whereas the Z2 seems relatively constant. The AHI data from the Z2 also throws me for a loop. The average is usually excellent (less than 3, sometimes higher) but the hourly readings from Nitelog are all over the place from zero to 62. Note: I ran the Pressure Check and the unit is operating normally. However the Nitelog display does not reflect this. support.hdmusa.com/support/solutions/articles/1000277484-is-my-pressure-actually-increasing-as-prescribed-

Hi Mike, level 1 is as low as you can go my friend. What mask are you using it with? I have to switch from my N30i to my P10 when i use my Z2 as the travel machines are not great with the hollow tube masks. The Q-lite and 22mm/6ft tube also helps a bit. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews thanks Nicko. Originally I was using a slimline tube and F30i mask… not great for noise. Last night I tried a regular tube and F30 mask and it was better… will see if I can adapt to it but to be honest when I switched to my AS10 half way through the night last night it was bliss!
I have tried to download Nitelog to my Android phone, and it indicates that the current version does not work with the latest Android software. Is this true? What can be done to solve this problem? Thanks Ray
I bought it recently, the size and quietness of this machine are great, but unfortunately, the Z-breathe pressure relief feature is inadequate for me, even when set to the highest level "3." I found it quite uncomfortable, like exhaling through a straw, in spite of trying to adjust with two nights of use. Maybe in the future, this shortcoming will be fixed with a new firmware.
Hi Adrian, thanks for your feedback, you might also like to trial a difference mask as some masks are a lot easier to exhale against than others :-). I also recommend people get a 6ft, 22mm cpap tube instead of the 4ft, 15mm tube it comes with. Cheers. Nick

What power cord are you using? The only dc adaptors I see are for the cigarette lighters but I want what you have in this video to plug into a dc generator.
G'day there's two ' power cables ' you can use with the Z2. 1 - The standard AC power supply that can be used either to plug into a standard wall socket (110-240v) or into an inverter like those found on a generator etc. 2. The DC cigarette cable which can be plugged into a 12V Cigarette Jack in a car, truck or caravan etc. Cheers
You normally do it with the app Breas Nitelog. They're soon to release it here in Australia :-). They have recently removed the old Nitelog app and replaced it with version 2 that is live in America but they are doing some testing and it should be in Australia shortly :-)
Hi, thanks for the information! I have a question though, I have set my machine on auto pursuant to the instructions, and have set the pressures. The problem is that when I go to nitelog it shows that the pressure remained constant all night as if it was in cpap mode rather than auto.. I returned the machine and set up the new one and once again Nitelog shows that the pressure remained constant ( at the low pressure setting) all night long! Is it me or is it ...2...defective machines, or is it Nitelog??
Hi Nick. I got my Z2 recently, but it is loud using a Respironics DreamWear Nasal Pillow mask. It's a constant ringing on top of my head. How do you get rid of that noise? Thanks!
I have a z2 auto. In apap mode it behaves as if in cpap mode operating at apap low pressure (4) as reported by HDM and Nitelog. I am using the mask and tube I use (Amara, 6 ft tube) with my Airsense 10 and I have no issues. Airsense provides pressure from between 7 and 11reported by Oscar. I blocked the tube at the mask and the z2 pressure climbed to 13 when I then released it. I also blocked the tube directly in the mask and the z2 slowly increases the pressure. I have tried 2 of these and both work the same. There seems to be no leaks reported. Is the Amara mask not suitable? Manufacturer did not respond to any request for help (email and phone) after several attempts. The seller has no idea on this. Any thoughts on this? I would like to keep it but RESMED Airsense is now on my horizon! Your channel is great. Keep going. Thanks

@CPAPReviews Uncle Nicko, I’ve had my Z2 Auto for several months now and I’ve noticed if I set it up with the same pressures as my Airsense 11 I feel like I’m slightly suffocating during sleep. Other than randomly playing with pressures is there a way to figure out the best pressures to counteract the lower flow compared to my Airsense 11?
I strongly warn anyone from buying a Z1/2 Auto Travel CPAP machine. I used mine only a few times before it failed with a Error 33 fault and was unusable. After contacting Breas who is 'supporting' buyers, I was told there was NOTHING they would to help me. Their total lack of support and service is the WORST I have ever come across in my entire life. I wouldn't use one if I got it for free. Absolute stinker products and company.
I too did not have any luck with this cpap machine. Soon as the internal battery goes dead .you can throw it away.. the battery is soldered to the board.if your like me you can replace it but you also have to re program the machine otherwise the error 33 keeps coming back . There's better options out there.
Nick. Do you think its ok to use the Z2 travel CPAP as a regular home use CPAP? The thing is all the CPAP suppliers i talked to don't recommend that. Do you know why? Are travel CPAPs inferior in treatment to home devices? Whats your take on this?
It's mostly to do with two things mate. 1. They don't have an inbuilt humidifier system and majority of cpap users prefer humidity with the therapy most of the time. 2. The travel machines are a touch noisier than the full units as they don't have a large amount of space for sound insulation like the bigger units that have a lot of foam built into them casings. I know of many people who use a travel unit as their only device and they love it but you certainly have to be comfortable not having humidification with the therapy and some people are fine with that :-)
@@CPAPReviews Thanks Nick. I don't think I need a humidifier. I seem ok without it. But is the device motor quality the same in a travel CPAP as a home CPAP? I mean the quality of the machinery and parts provide similar quality therapy right? Plus the Z2 is a pretty quiet machine. I don't hear it when it's running.

G’day Nick I got my Z2 today I followed the instructions to go from apap to cpap but all my machine does is cycle through apap 1-3 no matter if I press the up or down button it will not change to cpap any ideas of what to do
You might have to unlock it first. Press and hold down the middle button and then after that release and press and hold down the up and down arrows simultaneously 👍
I need help to figure out how to setup the Z2 the same as my day to day ResMed AirSense11. The AirSense 11 is set-up as a CPAP, I tried to copy the values and use them to program the Z2 but I am not sure I did it correctly. I tried to read the reccommendations from the Sleep Study report and they seem to match the AirSense 11 and set to CPAP with a Fixed 13 cmH2O. But I found that the Z2 seemed to pump too much air at 13 and ended up lowering to 10.
Question. I slept with the Z2 auto cpap last night. My nitelog app showed most of my sleep hours had yellow bars on the AHI screen which means mild apnea according to the chart. Does that mean the machine was effective in preventing the mild apnea or ineffective? The user guide doesnt interpret the results of the graph. Any idea how to interpret the graph? Are all the hour bars supposed to be green? If so do i need to increase the pressure for the cpap therapy to be effective? Thanks.

There are better companies out there.do not buy this machine..when the internal battery dies u get code 33.. the battery is soldered to the board.and the machine needs to be sent back to the company for re programming.. you have be warned.
THANK YOU!!
My APAP should have been set to 5 to 14, but the DME set it up for 15 to 18
It is fixed now thanks to this tutorial.
CAMPING THIS WEEKEND!!!!
Thanks fellow HoseHead!!
Thats awesome settings features a lot of these minis don't they have a ramp up when you can actually set the low and the high thats super helpful!!!
Once again your content delivers. Finally got the travel machine and this video made it super easy to set it up using my airsense 10 #s. Hauling a full sized CPAP through the airport sucks😎
awesome mate, happy to help. Cheers
Thank you for this video. I got my Z2 yesterday and used this to set it up. This little thing is amazing. Quiet! Thanks again. Keep up the great vids

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the sub. Cheers
I love this little machine, been using it for years for backpacking
and travel. When I backpack I use the mediastrom 12v battery and
have my pressure set to 10. I can get 2 nights out of it if I wait until
around 10 at night to turn it on. I have never had any problems
with the Z2.
Great and I setup my machine easily! Very informative video and clear instruction.
It features in several of my videos too
Nice one mate, glad you got it sorted Thanks for your feedback

Love every video you make
Thank You Awesome video--as always. Any time I have a question I seek out your content.
Thanks so much for this video! I had so much trouble getting help with setting mine up and your video was a game changer! I do have one question. On the lower left side of the screen I have a black rectangular shape that says reminder. What is that reminder about??
Hello, the reminder will come on if you have taken your mask off or have high mask leak. Cheers
You are the man. Thank you!
Great instructional video. Thank you
How does it compare to the air mini?
Cheers
Thanks for this great tutorial!! which app do you recommend to sync the data with the cell phone?
Two minutes and eight seconds into this video and I got my answer. Great. Now, all you gotta do is a Brooklyn accent and I'll understand you a lot better. Thanks! :)
Haha, i'll try my best brother. Perhaps just turn the closed captions on
thanks for the video....but my machine ramps up and down by itself and then he turns off..What I am doing wrong? please help
Hey bro, turn OFF the 'auto on/off' as these settings are problematic on all devices and for the the pressure ramping etc, just put it in cpap mode or set a tight automatic range ie min 9cm, max 11cm etc. Cheers
good video. quick question, how do we find out the total runtime of the machine? thanks.
Have you ever measured the Z2 noise level in decibels?

Great, and helpful videos. I bought a Z2 for a friend and he let me know that he’s getting a fail 33 error. I found that presently, many users are reporting 33 fails on stored and lightly used machines. Seems to be battery failure. There might be grounds for a class action…

I see that it has a built-in humidifier. In my research it mentions getting the moisture from the users "breath"...does it require the user to use a full face (nose and mouth) mask OR can it also used with a nasal pillow (this is what I use).
Look forward to your reply.

@@CPAPReviews thanks but how do I reset the firmware to factory settings? I don't see any option to do that. Do you?

Your video showed pressure relief in APAP mode, APAP-1 through APAP-3. In CPAP mode you showed CPAP-1 but is there CPAP-2 and CPAP-3 for pressure relief? I have the old HDM Z1 that just died. I use a CPAP at home and for travel but am considering the Z2 Auto in CPAP mode. I just want to make sure it has a pressure relief option. HDM sent me a firmware upgrade for the Z1 that opened up three levels of pressure relief.

Breas who sells these Z1/2 is a horrible company with the worst support and customer service I have ever come across. I strongly warn everyone to avoid them.
You're spot on really

what's that ramp setting about? you didn't really explain it. can you elaborate on it?
THank you

@@CPAPReviews was thinking about using the Anker powerhouse 100 with the Z2. Has great reviews and long life on a single charge, apparently.
@@positivevibes7131 the problem with the Ankers are that they primarily power by USB port. What app will work in Australia? Play Store says "not available in your country" for Nitelog app???
I just bought this APAP and was hoping to use my Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite battery, but the input end doesn't fit. Do you know if there are any converters or cables that will allow using this battery with the Z2? Many thanks!
Hey buddy, the Z2 is a 12V unit not a 24V unit. You would need the pilot 12V and also the Z2 cable kit for the battery too. Cheers

Cheers

Keep going. Thanks
Ken did you ever figure it out? I am having the same problem....Nitelog shows a constant pressure even though it's in apap mode. Returned the first machine and the replacement is doing the same thing.
i have jsut bought a Z2 cpap, it's doesnt work when connected with the medistrom battery. The message "reminder" appear on the screen and the device won't start. What can i do about it?
I’ve been using the Z2 daily since 2018. Great machine.
@@cieeusachristy BREAS has the WORST customer service in human history. Absolutely rock bottom crap company. I speak from my own experience with them.
I too did not have any luck with this cpap machine. Soon as the internal battery goes dead .you can throw it away.. the battery is soldered to the board.if your like me you can replace it but you also have to re program the machine otherwise the error 33 keeps coming back . There's better options out there.
@ You can throw away the company too. Worst ever I have encountered. Criminals. Avoid BREAS at all cost.
Hi guys, ResMed is trying to take down the CPAP Reviews channel. I think we might have 12 hours left. Here's a Facebook Group i started! Please join for support - facebook.com/groups/138127984943408 . If you have any free time please copy this and post it on the comments. Thank you so much! Nick
After 5 years of very satisfying using of Z1 auto I got on the display FAULT 33 and it is not possible to use it.
Any recommendation how to fix, or did someone experienced the same ?
Hi Dusan, that's probably the expected life span of a travel cpap. Unfortunately the fault 33 can not be fixed :-(. So far the Z2 has been very very reliable. I have yet to experience anyone with a fault. Cheers

Hi. Can the nitelig app work on Samsung Note 10 plus in Australia.
Can you help!
No does not look like it can.
Thanks for replying.
G’day Nick
I got my Z2 today
I followed the instructions to go from apap to cpap but all my machine does is cycle through apap 1-3 no matter if I press the up or down button it will not change to cpap any ideas of what to do
You might have to unlock it first. Press and hold down the middle button and then after that release and press and hold down the up and down arrows simultaneously 👍
One recommended change: to turn Bluetooth Off, unplug power, then plug power cord back in, BUT push and hold the Down Arrow. Otherwise, a Great Vid!
Thanks.

i dont know if youll read this but i use the F&P icon plus that has the water chamber, but if i was to switch to using the z2 coz its smaller but it doesnt have the Humidification, how is that gonna affect my sleeping?
Hi Nigel, i suggest you turn off the humidifier for one night and see how you find it :). Shouldn't be to bad, might just wake up with a dry mouth. Cheers
The number on my machine doesn’t change to the set pressure, it just stays on the lowest setting.
Battary ?
I just purchased the Z2 Auto and tried to download the app in Google Play Store. However, I receive a message saying, "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android." Do you have any suggestions? I have a somewhat older Android phone which leads me to believe that they aren't supporting their app anymore?
I am having the same problem. I emailed Breas and all i got back was that the app isn't available in Australia. Machine is pretty well useless to me without the app to monitor
@@jimprice9532 Do you have Android or iPhone? I actually just got it to work on Android.
@@jimprice9532 I have Android and downloaded APK Pure app. I'm not very technologically inclined so not really sure how APK's work but downloaded the app and from there downloaded the Nitelog app. It works fine. The app itself isn't the best but it does monitor how much sleep you get, amount of episodes per hour, and pressure settings. Not sure if it would work for iphone. Worth a shot though.
@@chriscoulter2784 apk is android package kit which is a self installing app but you have to have a apk installer on your phone, which obviously you have. I have android as well so i will have a look at it
I want this machine how do l go about getting it. Pls help. 🤔😱

What was that iOS app you mentioned? You mumbled it so couldn’t understand what you said and there is nothing in your description
Nitelog
1st time used was so silent. 2nd time using it was SOOOOO loud 😭
Zed. Not Ze.
Machine is made in U.S and it's also the biggest market so pronounced ZEE as per manufacturer wishes. Also, who cares!

Sorry about that. Let me know what you're trying to do and i will give you some assistance :)
There are better companies out there.do not buy this machine..when the internal battery dies u get code 33.. the battery is soldered to the board.and the machine needs to be sent back to the company for re programming.. you have be warned.
Does anyone else find the right hand button doesn’t seem to be as clicky as the left button??
I can only access CPAP mode. App mode doesn’t show on my levels. How do I get the app mode on my machine?
Switch Z-breathe to Apap-1 before accessing the clinical mode
How do I get to that? The set up on the video scrolls through apap 1-3 and CPAP 1-3. Mine only has CPAP 1-3. How do I get to the apap setting access?
@@barbarakincaid1482 might have to unlock it first, hold middle button and then hold after than hold up and down arrows simultaneously
Thanks, I’ll try that
Woohoo! Thanks so much. I’ve got my settings just right. 😊
