When I hiked that stretch 50 years ago, my folks drove us to the border, then to Stanley Park. 6 miles south and we were at the border post 48. In all my years of hiking, that stretch from Canada to Slate Peak and Hart’s Pass is some of the most spectacular alpine hiking I’ve ever done. Devils Staircase and the pink snow at Woody Pass. Great memories. Thanks for taking me back in time…….heavy boots, tents, sleeping bags, and regular clothes!😂
Dude, no worries about the newbie story. Even the most seasoned backpackers started somewhere. You are out there doing miles and I’m sitting on my couch. Heading up to Whitney in a month. Good luck on your trip!
BTW, I dove my wife and nephews (before kids) up that road you’re on. I didn’t know she was afraid of heights. About Dead Horse point she let me know! After a fun time on Slates peak and hiking, we headed down the road. She hated the whole experience.
Right on. Washington bringing the views. Love the cloudy shots. Peace and happy trails.
Enjoying the logistics and your flexibility. Many thanks for the chronical-ing!!
You are hiking in my neck of the woods in WA. It is so beautiful. glad all the logisitics worked out for you

Outlaw ( and Wilson) - I believe that your team's flexibility in working out all the logistics is brilliant- Nobo or Sobo- what a year it's been.
It’s been a hell of a year

Why the facepalm at the end? Something wrong?
That was our camping spot and we had no spots lol but we made it work
I wouldn't go to your first videos and then shame you, after all, currently there are plenty . . . err, never mind
