Any of the gentle taper AR's where the minimum damage stretches out to 100m, like the G36, pair very well with Ranger. You can stretch your base damage out to 50m or so before you start to see damage lower than you would at 0m. Extremely good talent for using AR's at extreme ranges.

I've got exactly the same build save for the gloves that are fenris as i prefer to run with AR. I'm lucky enough to have the gift. It's my go to build anytime. If on a group and there is someone running with a cc build or a healer I go with perfect glass canon, orherwise with spark. Run with survivalist as the specialization for the healing from the seeker and the assault drone to proc spark and it as the added benefit of distract the npc from me. Great build
I really should have taken a look at this sooner. Your Fire build is good and while it is fun, I need a bit more difference. Just subscribed to your channel. Many thanks for your good work on the Division 2. I have over 200 hours in this game over many months. I do like the quality of your videos and common sense advice in this game. No build is perfect, and you don’t have to use exotics to make your way in the game. The game has a complex user interface, and there are many sub menus, that took me a while to get used too, because there is no real “ user manual” that comes with this game. I learned through constant play and the occasional helpful random player during matchmaking. I have found most random players that I have joined with to be quite helpful offering their friendly advice. I would say that good advice is to change your build to suit the mission. It’s too easy to stick with the same build for weeks, so change often to suit the environment and missions, don’t be afraid to experiment. Enjoy !.As a prologue to my comments, let’s hope TU 10 will address the many failings regarding loot grind. For example I completed the “ Tombs” mission on challenging and heroic more than 5 times but still did not get the “ Bullet King” exotic. So I hope the devs will keep a keen eye on maintenance, and keep adding to what is becoming a much better experience than when it was first released.
These type of videos are the reason you are hands down the Best Division 2 Content Creator. I cannot do these. And I highly respect the work going into all of this. Hey Buzz As i know, Crit Hit Chance is maxed out at 60%, therefore i would remove the (all) Crit Hit Chance Mod for Crit Dmg Mod. Cause in a raid you will allways get 15% Hit buff from the mask. (from you or others)
Correct, but I am usually within 15 meters of the majority of my targets and therefore picking up CHD from the mask. If someone else in my squad is using it, I will switch to something else for more CHD and then pick-up their buffs as well.
Using contractor gloves in a dps build not utilizing an lmg is a waste of gear slot after the nerf they received. People are always like "a youtuber said that they are bis cuz it's m U l T i P l i C a T i V e" and well, yeah, no shit, i play this game too and i know these things. I just feel like a lot of players cannot be bothered to test anything for themselves and just copy the "meta" build. I tested contractor's gloves vs grupo/3rd providence piece with various non-lmg weapons and the named petrov piece always fell flat. Yes, if you are using an LMG i think they are still BiS. But other than that, the 1,08 DTA multiplier just doesn't make up for the loss of crit and crit chance
I’m sorry.. nothing comes close to Contractors and Fox Prayers on a full red build. The 8% damage to armour is equivalent to about 25-30% CHD. Multiplicative damage is broken
Very similar to what I put together. Managed to get 54% crit chance and 151% crit damage. Unfortunately a few of my pieces have weapon handling on them instead of crit damage. So I could go higher. But maybe when weapon handling stat is changed in TU10 it might actually be useful. Especially that accuracy bonus if you elect to use a shotgun.
What are your thoughts on weapon handling, and the spotter chest talent for someone who needs the stability and likes pulses for helping to see the enemies?
Thank you once again for the intel, LT. But when TU10 rolls around will it still be up to speed?? Just an added note. I understand that using the glass cannon helps your damage output but it's a very sharp double edge toward considering that you will take more damage than you give. Why not go with Unbreakable?
Farmed all day yesterday for some fox's prayer knees with higher than 13.1% weapon damage (which I already have), no luck. So many exotics though, that all get deconstructed for exotic components lol.
I have a few questions. 1. If you have coyote mask on 2 players and both hit the same bonus... is this bonus is double? 2. 60% hit chance is limit? If you have 60% hit chance + for example 10% from mask - do you actually have 70%?
Great content I have had this build for a while and now I’m a bit bored of it I used to be heavy in pve now I’m now getting into pvp don’t get me wrong it’s a great build but people who have played the game long enough knows that this is the standard build for dps and I’m a bit fed up of being squishy so I have been trying some other hybrid builds which are more tanky
I disagree on Famas, "high fire rate" and Strained. You use strained on low fire rate ARs, because here you can shoot much longer without reloading so Strained can build up. For any faster shooting AR (honey Bagder, M4,...) I use fast hands because in a longer fight there is a difference in having 2.6 or 2.7 secs reloading time vs. 1.2. And I am an almost exclusive AR player, so I had plenty of time on testing a build outside the shooting range in the HQ.
Was wondering...been playing for a bit. Im at tier 5 level and have the 93r pistol but cant equip it. Is there a reason I can't equip this exotic pistol on my current build? Also only been to the dark zone once ( was invited) picked up some high level and exotic gear while there but doesn't show in my inventory. Why?
Are you talking about the Sharpshooter 93R, which can only be equipped if you're using the Sharpshooter specialisation? It has the sharpshooter logo in the background of the weapon image in the inventory display. So, with any other specialisation mounted, it can't be equipped (to be clear) DZ gear: Did you move it from the STASH to your inventory? After extracting from DZ, you have to go in to the stash, select the category for DZ gear (forget name atm), move it to your inventory, then use...
Come on man, you can’t say this is “easy to assemble” when it’s a standard all red build with high rolls! So it’s entirely dependant on RNG. Example: I got to level 40 on Xbox (having got bored to death with the game on PS) a week ago and I’ve been playing 3 hours a day and I have not got one all red piece with high rolls. So this build is only easy to assemble if RNG is your best friend!
My thoughts exactly! Every single one of the items he shows is god rolled or close enough to it... yet here I am still wearing the same mediocre chest piece I have been wearing for 2 months now because I just cannot get anything better to drop. I would also love to try some gear sets but cannot get a 4th piece to drop for the set bonus and even if they drop they are all 50% rolls and below... I would even understand my current equipment state if I were playing on normal/story exclusively, but I never go below challenging and play on heroic most of the time... -.-
Been grinding Legendary for a week at least 5-6 hours daily. Finally got BigHorn (only exotic to drop in 15+ runs to drop and a handful of maxed holsters and gloves. The RNG is insanely awful.
@@kellyhoward9714 whats worse is when you finally get the gun you wanted, you find out its no better than a high end. Time investment vs reward just isn't there.
I just look for the targeted loot and then hit the specific zones if they are for the brand sets I am looking for. Zones are much easier to farm than missions and I concentrate on easy completions like hostage or propaganda missions.
Also wondering can you bring the weapons from the DZ out into regular game play? There are some outstanding weapons in the DZ but it seems when you leave the DZ, you can't bring those weapons out, or am I wrong?
You have to exctract all items you get in the DZ. Look for extraction areas (3 per DZ), then call in a helo and wait to attach your stuff. Beware that the fact you are extracting is announced to the entire server, so Rogues may show up. If you successfully extract, they will show up in your mailbox. You can transfer the items from there into your inventory.
Where are these 500k+ M1A's dropping from? The best I have had so far is about 350k, I'm beginning to feel like I am doing something wrong in this game, practically never get exotic drops and the base damage on the main weapons seem to be about 30% less than others are getting. :(
Really Buzz? "Easy" to assemble? Bullet King, Coyote mask, Contractors gloves, Fox Prayers kneepads. All you're missing is the yaahl mask and you'd have the DPS trinity. I can't get ANY of these items to drop for me so, yeah, not easy to assemble.
Great video like always and i'm using also your build for my LMG build and my AR build but i prefer the talent composure on the backpack to have more survivability and some time i'm using the same build but i changed the Providence gears with the strikers gears and i'm using only 3 of them.....it's difficult to see which of those build is better.....because both of them hit very hard but with the new guardian challenge my build with the 3 strikers build hit so fast it become the ultimate melting machine you should try it....
@@LtBuzzLitebeer true. But only 2 npc dont have a head mini tank dogo's . I also didnt use my side, but ging from 390k eng to 440k dmg (yes D50 without headshot) made me use it more instead of reloading (i hate reloading, long life Bullet King)
TBH, having a critical hit damage below 150% and calling it’s dps build, it’s misleading. It’s like those random guys that join your game using striker in a heroic mission and all they do is staying on the floor.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer I thought maybe you could unlock and change but when Iit was said they were adjusting those features on exotics I figured out they are what they are.
I was wondering the same thing. I have 30% weapon handling on my build and my BK still jumps for about 3 secs of firing to where his doesn't jump at all. I don't see any weapon handling on his build. Guess it's because he's a PC player. Heard they have better aim on there.
A guide with little effort that takes 16 minuets to describe Plus I am sure I have seen this build a thousand times on you tube with every other content creator.
Pretty much the same build I have. I hate that your Cont gloves are almost 15% weapon dmg. I've looted over 30 of these fuckers and can't get beyond 11.8%. That's my final piece of dmg boost. However, when I'm going full AR's in TU10, the gloves are going to these amazing fenris gloves that I have 15% WP 10% HS 12% CHD As damage to armor doesn't work all that well with AR's in the range. I also have a perfect Prov Chest with Braced ready to go over Perfect Glass Cannon. I tested this on PTS and I must say, with Gunner, in cover, in place. My Perfect CTAR is an absolute lazer beam with Ranger to NPC skulls. I solo'd half of DUA Legendary with it alone.
The headshot damage and crit damage on this is insane! I've a weapon damage build with 60% crit chance and 131% crit damage. Feel free to check it out!
Buzz - in short - I think your Crit Hit Chance is too high. I know we want to be at or near 60% which is a HARD cap for Crit hit chance. You can't surpass it even temporarily. So overspeccing Crit Hit Chance is wasting stats. If you are in a rifle build, and running a M1A rifle, most your shots will be from 25m+, which makes the Coyote Mask add 25% Crit Hit chance. When rifle is equipped you should there for ideally be at 35%. Remember the Coyote buff has no timer, so even if your last shot was 5 minutes ago, you still have the extra 25% CHC and are therefore capped. Any stats above the cap is a waste. I would spec the rifle into more Crit Hit Damage. On my build i run M1A rifle and a Police 416 AR. Rifle main weapon for normal fighting at or above 25m, and switching to AR when i get rushed. When I equip the M1A: I'm at 37.3% CHC with 196.1% CHD and 92.7% HSD. +25% CHC from Coyote. Effectively 60% CHC(62.3% - so wasting 2.3% stats) When I see enemies get closer and swap to AR, the Coyote will give you the mid range buff of CHC +10% and CHD +10%. Inside 15m it adds only CHD at 25%. For this reason i try to run my AR, not at 60%, but at around 50% CHC. Rather 2-3% lower than 50 than over. Same build, but with AR equipped gives me: I'm at 47.3% CHC with 182.1% CHD and 72.7% HSD. +10% CHC and +10% CHD from Coyote . Effectively 57.3% CHC and 192.1% CHD. If in your face (inside 15m): I'm at 47.3% CHC with 182.1% CHD and 72.7% HSD. +25% CHD from Coyote . Effectively 47.3% CHC and 207.1% CHD. In essence. The very worst scenario is inside 15 m fighting, where i have to accept a CHC drop to 47.3% (still not bad), but at the benefit of extra 25% CHD.
Very well constructed statement. I would agree that my CHC is too high, especially once the Coyote Mask procs. I mostly run that mask to help out my squad on the raid, but will readjust for normal, solo play. TY!

@@LtBuzzLitebeer true. But only 2 npc dont have a head mini tank dogo's . I also didnt use my side, but ging from 390k eng to 440k dmg (yes D50 without headshot) made me use it more instead of reloading (i hate reloading, long life Bullet King)
What about the skill choices?
I use repair drone and revive hive. Sorry about not mentioning them.
I have the same exact build, except i dont use Coyote Mask.
What mask do you use?
@@LtBuzzLitebeer i use Ceska, because my coyote roll is shite.
Seeing this video and automatically reminiscing looking at the M1 with a base damage of +500K. That has been nerfed now for so long :(
😞
@@LtBuzzLitebeer We really do miss the good ole days of glorious AAA games that didn’t nerf weapons and gave us what we wanted.
@@Great_America Exactly
TBH, having a critical hit damage below 150% and calling it’s dps build, it’s misleading. It’s like those random guys that join your game using striker in a heroic mission and all they do is staying on the floor.
I don't stay on the floor with my build and as soon as I connect with a target past 15 meters, I pick up that extra CHD from the Coyote Mask.
207 days to christmas , =)
Lmaooo...
😂
Hah!
Still having trouble getting mods for exotics.
If you have the exotic already you won't get the mods again for some stupid reason, until you move the exotic to another character or deconstruct it.
What mods for exotics? They only come one way.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer I thought maybe you could unlock and change but when Iit was said they were adjusting those features on exotics I figured out they are what they are.
man don't see recoil on your bullet king, mine is like earthquake
I was wondering the same thing. I have 30% weapon handling on my build and my BK still jumps for about 3 secs of firing to where his doesn't jump at all. I don't see any weapon handling on his build. Guess it's because he's a PC player. Heard they have better aim on there.
IDK why. I don't use any handling attributes, etc.
Thats exactly the same as the build im running works with ar lmg and rifle
👍👍👍👍👍
A guide with little effort that takes 16 minuets to describe Plus I am sure I have seen this build a thousand times on you tube with every other content creator.
Glad to help!
I actually have exactly the same build before getting here
👍
Which is Better Dmg to Armor or Dmg our of Cover on a SMG or AR?
They are both multiplicative and I would go with OOC.
is this a legit build or is it using the bug
Am I using a damage glitch? That answer is no. Those are my legitimate damage numbers you see on screen.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer alright good stuff
Pretty much the same build I have. I hate that your Cont gloves are almost 15% weapon dmg. I've looted over 30 of these fuckers and can't get beyond 11.8%. That's my final piece of dmg boost.
However, when I'm going full AR's in TU10, the gloves are going to these amazing fenris gloves that I have
15% WP
10% HS
12% CHD
As damage to armor doesn't work all that well with AR's in the range.
Yeah, those gloves attribute rolls are great!
Build guide for the cookie cutter DPS build that everyone's been running since TU8 dropped? Ok
Ok
Can anyone answer my questions down below?
Please send it again David and I will watch for it to pop-up again. I'm always down to help out.
The headshot damage and crit damage on this is insane! I've a weapon damage build with 60% crit chance and 131% crit damage. Feel free to check it out!
Correct!
Man, stop doing gaming videos and use your voice talent for something its meant for! Go get that money my friend.
That's the plan! I just need someone in that business to find me!!!!
it`s squishy as fuck . Get unbreakable on the chest for survivability !
Damn this games changed 😂
Yooooooo! The wild Panda has finally come out of hibernation! How are you doing mate????
LtBuzzLitebeer hahaha it’s been a long time since I’ve touched my Xbox mate. I’m well! Hope you’re keeping safe during lockdown!
almost like my build.
Great minds think alike! :)
When I equip the M1A:
I'm at 37.3% CHC with 196.1% CHD and 92.7% HSD. +25% CHC from Coyote. Effectively 60% CHC(62.3% - so wasting 2.3% stats)
When I see enemies get closer and swap to AR, the Coyote will give you the mid range buff of CHC +10% and CHD +10%. Inside 15m it adds only CHD at 25%.
For this reason i try to run my AR, not at 60%, but at around 50% CHC. Rather 2-3% lower than 50 than over.
Same build, but with AR equipped gives me:
I'm at 47.3% CHC with 182.1% CHD and 72.7% HSD. +10% CHC and +10% CHD from Coyote . Effectively 57.3% CHC and 192.1% CHD.
If in your face (inside 15m):
I'm at 47.3% CHC with 182.1% CHD and 72.7% HSD.
TY!
2nd
Oooooo. So close to first.
Damage to target out of cover hits much harder than damage to armor, pretty much a useless stat
On the rifle? Correct. I corrected with a pop-up during that portion of the video.
Love your videos and the hole content that you're creating. I'm looking for a nice clan with mostly older people (40+). I'm from germany, but I would like to join an english speaking clan. Hope some one can help me and keep up the good work. Peace out :-)
I am part of the Division UK clan and they are awesome.
