U can add curd agr spicy hua h to chicken
Punjabi bari is made of urad dal and is quite spicy and bigger in size. We can’t add a huge amount in dishes because of its high spice level. My grandmother used to add bari in pulao, lauki sabzi, torai sabzi and aaloo bari sabzi.
We always cook bari in gravy with good quantity of water bcoz its sundried and hard.
Fry vadi ..then soak in water ..then give time to cook completely , then add saag it takes very less time to cook. But saag receipe looking too good..

You can soak vadi in water for some time then squeeze water from it before frying then add to the vegetable.
After frying the dal Vadis, cook in a cooker with lauki. Vadis will be well cooked 😊
