She consulted other doctors via satellite link and performed a biopsy on herself. The air force then dropped supplies for her to start doing chemo. She was eventually evacuated and went into remission, though sadly passed away ten years later.

Allow them to have a long distant friendship. She clearly is very smart and can read him well but at the same time doesn't seem to be put off by his abrupt nature. Once again, the great Mira Sorvino proves why she was unjustly railroaded from the business, in spite of being a MONSTER talent. Not many people hold with "House", let alone believably take him on.

At 1:38 the whole team is in the room to watch the test, but then at 2:33 House and Foreman are in the room alone.
The cut between shootings occurs at 2:00. When he says "Can she see me?" you can see the tops of Taub and 13's heads in the shot. Cut to the TV then cut back, Taub and 13 are gone.
I've watched this episode like 3 times and never noticed this until now.

tbh, if you watch at 1:29/2:09/5:14 you see her limping because of her/the broken toe. But didn't know at that point because of the cold. also, it's funny how she was limping like House in those few scenes.

Even funnier, that scene from Apollo 13 where they MacGyver CO2 scrubbers didn't happen in real life. (One of their geniuses worked it out in his car on the way to NASA, but that isn't very cinematic.) But diagnosing a woman trapped at the South Pole via satellite link really did happen.

One of the episodes where they really show he's as human as the rest of us. He might be one arrogant bloke but he is just lonely and lashing out at the world coz he needs a cuddle.

    eaching conclusions.
