@@futurebeats898 Yup. Work has dried up quite a bit sadly due to Covid. Most productions are just going with stock music now but I've scored two thus far this year.
Dang, fantastic. Really like how you used a lot of the features (including mixer and splits) for real-time performance. I've got to explore drum designs with mine!
Makes a track he could have done with the free version of Kontakt…. But this is about workflow, and any Dave instrument is going to be more fun than any NI software no doubt.
Me Before Watching: I will NOT buy more gear that is far more advanced than I am, I will NOT buy more gear I cannot fully grasp... Me After: I will donate plasma twice a month and buy a ProphetX on a payment plan.
I would love to know how something this complex (without seeming to include matrix modulation) could feature any kind of “basic function“. Aside from not having the right budget for this model and now attempting to shut the book on getting synthesizers anymore, I definitely would consider owning one.
Sorry for the late reply. I haven`t thought about it that way. For me they are some additional layers you can use to build something different. 8dios samples are always top notch and these are fitting pretty good in here. Feels like these were designed for modern music and sound designing "environments" and If we want a "closer" take on classical instruments, then we can build a whole orchestra with their sound banks. But I`m not an expert when it comes to orchestral sounds, just simply try to use what I get with an instrument.
...and this is why I will not buy any other musical device or product until after I possess this machine. ...all funds directed to the Prophet X! Till then, I use what I already have!
More or less. And it’s about time someone did it. Still doesn’t have the character of an EPS16+, but you wouldn’t exactly use one of those in a professional film scoring situation. Whereas you could make a career with the X.
Thanks! I`ve recorded everything track by track to Ableton Live and set the volume and panorama for each track and there`s a PSP Vintage Warmer 2 on the master, working as a standard limiter (with saturation and EQ turned off). I`ve recorded through a Novation Audiohub interface. I tried to get more low frequencies by tweaking the filters.
finally someone who knows how to bring out the potential of this synthesizer .
.
no doubt... never seen so many bad demos before. Kudos mate thanks for the inspiration.
The only synth that can make it all
The best demo of prophet X!
Fantastic! I can’t express how much I love this synth. I’m really consider getting a Prophet XL to go along with it!
Do you still score movies?

Nice work! I'm beyond impressed that you can get all this variety out of one instrument.
A beast!
It's safe to say, Dave Smith knows what he is doing. Great demo.
As awesome as always man 🙏
Impressive, and an incredible machine!
Unless you truly need pure analog (and some people do, which is cool), this is the Prophet to get.
Incredible! Love the tracks!
@1:18 we discover Hunart is actually Steve-O. 😁
Great demo dude, for a great musical machine
Bloody stunning
Phantastic machine! Performed by a great artist!
I was very happy to test this synth at the superbooth last year but unfortunately to expensive to me
That was incredible.
Yeah! What a great use you put this axe to. You're made for it, and vice versa.
Terrific. Love this.
superb! 👌
cool video bro 😆

The drum samples are superb. Everything is there. I even sampled some of them to my sampler to mangle them more :)
Great demo, expensive but good machine! Thumb up!
Brzmi naprawdę świetnie!
Nice
nice man. thanks for keeping it musical :)
Internet: This is just an overpriced sampler
Hunart: Hold my beer

formidable
Special sounds' like it.
Mega Synrh, very nice demo! :-D

Great demo and all but from a purely sound standpoint I am surprised how thin these patches are. Lacks punch and warmth I would’ve expected from DS :/
how do you find the strings sample ? it seems a bit to dry and squeaky to me. what do you think ? thanks.

This or the jdxa and call it a day🤷♂️🖤
Longshot question... Is this a modern day ASR-10?

Amazing! I don't recognize the deep low end from my PX. Is there no external eq or fx?
How is it recorded? To daw on multitracks?

Are you using any external Sequencer ?
skyjay01: "off-topic: Watch it again with Spanish subtitle"
Me: WTF?
UA-cam: Spanish subtitles available
Me: Really?
Szia! Ez valójában, a REV2, meg egy sampler, nem?
Nehéz megmondani, nem volt alkalmam "megnyomogatni" a REV2-t. Annyi biztos, hogy jó ez a kombináció :)
