As someone completely new to sample based beat making and relatively new to the MPC, I highly appreciate your explanation of the methods you use! Recently found your channel and you're really helping me understand the mindset of selecting and using samples. Thank you so much man!

Awesome video. About the moving of inserts. One way is to simply save the insert and then you can just clear it and open it on the insert you want. This isn’t as quick as if you could slide it up and down but saving it means you won’t have to manually dial the exact settings you had before…

Hey malo , love your videos ! im starting at sampling and i really dont have that much plug ins to make same good instruments sounds , love that hype plug , but to expensive for now , which pulg ins do you sugest to get piano , strings ,and synts to start with low budget? and can u explain me how to setting the bpm's works, i really dont know when to change it , and my ideia that i must get 80-90 bpm´s to boom bap doesnt really work sometimes and i froze my beat !

Hey brother, yes, I still have my ONE but I have it took away since I have not been using it. They are honestly identical. It just depends if you rather have the portability with the internal speaker that the live 2 has, and also the amazing flexibility with the extra I/O from the MPC live 2 which pleasing people for me as I’m putting different guitar pedals so those extra I/Os come in handy for me from time to time. In general, I would highly recommend just getting the live 2 since it has longevity, if you ever want to expand without having to buy external interfaces

Can’t you save your settings as a preset and load it up again after you delete it and put the filter on first insert
Question what pedals are good to run my mpc live 2 through for mixing?
Malo if you were to load your beats to a daw and using analog heat how would you go about that? Old school track out live record out outputs or would you suggest another route?
Does one not get copyrighted for releasing sample chops from a song as you have? Sorry new to sample pack stuff. But I have a lot of vinyl and have made many dif sample packs for my own use over the years. Are those something that can be marketed or sold :O

How accurate is the key finding feature?
It’s honestly better than I thought. It works for me 90% of the times, and when it doesn’t all I have to do is turn it up a few semitones.

Save whatever settings you have on one effect, then remove it. Add your filter then add the preset you just made for the amp sim, after it. Done. No drag drop needed.
