I’m literally trembling trying not to squeal because of how much I love this. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve rewatched this over the years since it came out. It never gets old. I feel like each time I watch it I’m watching it new all over again that’s how much joy and excitement I feel when I watch it. This from a writer stance is really good with characters, even tho it is a music video I got a really good feel for who they are and the relationship, clearly a abusive and obsessive one. They really feel alive and make me want to see more! I’ll have to keep my eyes out for more of your work
Ok so for the people that don’t know: -It shows in the beginning of the video Lucy’s dead body and Monozuki coming towards him. This is because Lucy actually fell from a very tall place, broke his neck and died. When Monozuki finds him he finds a way to bring him back to life which is why he has a new scar on the back of his neck -Lucy can’t leave Monozuki bc whenever Lucy goes to sleep he dies so every morning Monozuki has to bring him back -The part where Monozuki coughs up blood could be a sign of his Leukemia. -The relationship is quite one sided since Lucy wants attention and love from the Doctor while Monozuki just wants Lucy to stop pestering him so he basically just let’s Lucy do whatever he wants (he even gets Lucy a black cat so that he would leave him alone) -I’m not sure if Monozuki ends up falling for Lucy or not since like Pompadorkery and Matt said: It’s complicated I’m pretty sure the rest is pretty self explanatory so im just gonna leave this here. I hope this was able to help someone understand and if u wish to learn more u should check out the streams that Pomp and Matt do.❤️

So when he sees his lover, whom he is clearly in a very close and intimate relationship with treat or even care for someone other than him, he becomes jealous and will be driven to extreme methods of extermination- all to avoid the fear of being abandoned and left alone. I really like how you play with different background colors in this, switching between the light and dark (and occasionally red for emphasis) makes the whole video seem restless and unstable, which is a feeling that goes perfectly with the story being told

I really like how you play with different background colors in this, switching between the light and dark (and occasionally red for emphasis) makes the whole video seem restless and unstable, which is a feeling that goes perfectly with the story being told
