Love the way that with your reactions it feels like i am watching the cogs turning in your head, like it lowering a bucket into a well and it always contains something unexpected and original when it emerges again.
Just to point out the Helter Skelter Ren's referring to, is on old English fairground ride. It's basically a structure similar to a lighthouse with a slide that spirals around the out side of it, There's spiral steps inside that take you to the top. There's a Helter Skelter still used today in Brighton. Also the Beatles song Helter Skelter, (famously having the very first heavy metal beat, refers to the same ride in the line" When I get to the bottom, I go back to the top" 😊 .
he is also referring to charles manson , i get that with watching this reaction , the man has a good point i never realized . or both . i mean VESSEL done it for me .
That is a ride in America. I can remember it as far back as 1984. It [same ride] was also called the “Hellhole” at other parks. And there is one more name and I can’t recall it. I don’t know where it started. Don’t care. Don’t know. I just added my two cents of “What is useless information unless you appear on Jeopardy’”. Lol. I still read your comment and if you have any more information, I’ll read that too. But I’m not leaving it up to you too do my research for me. I’m not lazy like that, plus I really don’t trust “other” ppl’s research. I really don’t care where it was first. Lol
@@frankiek2269 Some more Useless info. 😊 Helter-skelter has been in common use in England as part of everyday English for over 400 years. Is the USA from the 1820' It means, "In chaotic and disorderly haste" The 1st recorded Helter Skelter fairground ride, was in1906, at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, England. UK. Here endeth the lesson 🤣
MONEY GAME 3 drops today!!! ,❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 Ren his lyrics pinned in the comments just in case you guys want to double check that you heard him correctly, especially when he goes into the faster flows. ❤
Helter skelter is from Beatles third album (the White album) the double album came out in ‘68 … Charles Manson and his “family” went total bananas in ‘69 …. Manson used Beatles lyric’s as well as the book of Revelation in his vision . There is also a song called Piggis on the same Beatles album
Your reactions to Ren are pretty boss coz you understand a lot of references that I see others miss. Also as a Hip Hop fan I dig anyone who knows the culture and it's roots. Respect.
Love your insights into some of the references and rap history. You two are such good reactors because you're great company to watch these videos with.
Really enjoying your reactions to getting to know Rens music. If you don’t mind some unsolicited input when you’re jumping back-and-forth on the videos, you can use the spacebar on the keyboard to pause and play the video and normally the left arrow will go back about 5 seconds in the right arrow will go forward about the same amount of time. So you can tap the space bar to pause, hit the left arrow to back up a little bit, and then spacebar again to play. just makes it smoother once again enjoying your reactions😀✌️
The song Helter Skelter was a Beatles song but Mansion referred to it in an interview so when they named the book about Mansion it was called Helter Skelter
Django Reinhardt - was badly burned in a fire and was told he would need an amputation. He refused surgery! and learned to walk with a cane against the odds. He was also told he would never play an instrument again. He retaught himself to play and mastered it. Becoming a music legend. Jessie Owens - was a sickly child who developed a benign cyst on his chest at 5. His parents couldn't afford a doctor, so his mother performed surgery on him herself on the kitchen table whilst he bit down on a leather strap. He overcame all of that to become the first american track and field athlete to win 4 gold medals in a single olympics. Van Gogh - was tortured by psychotic episodes and delusions, even cutting off his own ear. His art is among the most expensive ever existing and considered one of the greatest artists of all time. hallelujah- Leonard Cohen took 180 attents to perfect this song and was rejected multiple times. He never gave up for over 10 years before it became a hit and the classic we know it as today. Frank sinatra had a traumatic childhood and scaring on his face due to a traumatic birth where it was thought he was a still birth. He also overcame a deep depression and he went on to the the legend we all know and love. All of these people he referenced had to overcome some serious adversity all had 'The Hunger' to do so and become the GOATs that they were. Just like Ren 😊 ❤
A quick but fun one. It's still surprising to know he does everything behind the songs too - like producing the beat or perfectly choreographing another one-take video. I had to read the lyrics on this to understand much of what he said. He not only plays with which syllables to emphasize, but he often reverses typical structure (e.g. "King, call me Arthur"; "I'm warrior like Zena, Julius like Caesar"; "Evangelist - spread the words I speak like they're cancerous"; etc.). Oh, and he often breaks lines unusually: "Putting backy with the green, roll a fatty dopamine / Starts flowing, my cerebellum glowing" so the break is after dopamine rather than before it. Basically he does whatever he wants to make things either sonically pleasing or to better convey his message. Cool beans. Lol. It works, but it's not so easy for first time listeners. Another great reaction. Your partnership works on-screen.
One thing you didn't notice (maybe) from animal flow is the reference to a Clockwork Orange. The character in that also walks with a cane and the issues in that movie are relevant to the song. It also connects to Animal Farm, again touching on the same issues. I am just impressed that there are so many other tiny details you pick up on man. Impressed.
Another great reaction. You two have a special ability to see things others have missed, such as the whole Helter Skelter/Charles Manson references. Looking forward to more reactions from you. God bless.
I love watching reactors & have my favourites. I just found you guy’s not long ago & your now my #1 go to above all. Love your format, energy, balance, chemistry & breakdowns, don’t change anything you’re 1 of the most entertaining channels running. Wishing you great success ✌🏻❤️🇨🇦
You two should watch some of Ren's interviews - one with Knox and one with Black Pegasus. They will give you a much better understanding of Ren's music.
Charles Manson has always fascinated me. He was a very cryptic fella. ( He even appeared in the lyrics of one of my own songs called Perforated Edges back in the 90's ) I love how you put the Helter Skelter piece together with the P.I.G ( I confess, I missed that one _ you iz ultra sharp brother - I love the way your brain works ) ... oh, and you are such a bloody handsome couple. I love and respect you both for your content. PEACE 🙏 NAMASTE x
His new album came out today. I preordered it a while back. I can't wait until it comes!!! I think this song is on it. I'd have to re-look at the list. Losin' It is definitely on it. I can't wait to crank that in my car. Great reaction
Manson was friends with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys, but Helter Skelter is a Beatles track off their "White Album", which Manson thought had hidden messages about a coming race war. One of the Manson Family members wrote "Helter Skelter" on the wall at one of the murder scenes, in the victims blood. But Helter skelter really just means disorganized, messy, thrown about... ect.
Guys go on Ren's Twitch account and check the live version he did of this song before or maybe right after this song was released. It is pretty cool. It is under the video section of Ren's twitch account.
he was on that rappity rap shit lol This one was my favorite of Ren showcasing his rap skills. Did you notice his beat boxing skills came out in this one too? More evidence he makes his own beat!
watching that look of confusion on both your faces when he started going hard was hilarious. It truly looked like you both had just resigned to the thought of understanding anything he was saying for a second there. No one ever catches this one, but that ground beef line was actually a triple entendre, conflict/food/weed. in fact from the start of this section 4 of the 5 sections remaining all keep that running theme of weed at least insinuated with the double entendre, the final remaining section not included in that was, of course, him having fun on the conflict theme from that ground beef line.
FYI - Heater Skelter is a Beatles song that Manson believed was fortelling some race riot nonsense. The Beach Boys did cover a Mason song - just not Helter Skelter Interesting Manson Piggies link though - the wall in the Animal Flow video is very Mansonesque too….
I think it's YOU that's obsessed with Manson, not Ren! lol. I've probably watched close to a hundred reactions to this track and you're the ONLY reactor to make that, very tenuous, Manson connection. You're projecting, which is fine but it helps to be able to tell when it's coming from you and when it's coming from the artist. :)
The reason he was walking around in a suit and cane in animal flow is because the entire video is modeled in reference to the George Orwell book "animal farm" which is about animals taking over a farm from the humans and The pigs form a sort of government over the rest of the animals and by the end of the story they go into the farmhouse and take the farmers cloths and start trying to walk around on two feet with canes as a way of projecting how sophisticated they are compared to the rest of the animals.... It had nothing to do with Willy Wonka
The things you picked up about Manson….i have heard this song around a billion times. A trillion reactions, 😜 and no one has caught that shit. That’s nuts!! This reaction was more than Stellar! I love you guys and what your creative brains bring to the table! Let’s go!
Helter Skelter was a song written by The Beatles, it had nothing to do with Manson except in his twisted mind. Manson knew the Beach Boys to steal musical instruments from and burn on dope deals.
Love the ending of your message. Tomorrow never arrives but there is no place like it can be filled with with hope or dread. Just have to accept what it brings. I think i had lost hope in tomorrow before discovering Ren. Funnily enough i watched tje film tomorrowland the other day and it pretty much summed that up.
Everybody initially thinks they don't have an accent, trust me guys, you do. 😊 It's just we Brits hear way more of your voices than you do of ours so we understand you just fine. The cure? Listen to more UK music and TV. Ren's helping 😉
This song reminds me a bit like "sirens" by Dizzee rascal which is definitely a song you should react to he's a London rapper and it's a great video aswell.
Love the way that with your reactions it feels like i am watching the cogs turning in your head, like it lowering a bucket into a well and it always contains something unexpected and original when it emerges again.
Thanks fam we really appreciate the kind words very well articulated love and respect
helter skelter was originally track written by the beatles
And it’s a fairground slide that goes down around a tower 👍
Its also a hip hop group from the mid to late 90s
Also a massive rave company in the 90s....
And a saying that means disorderly haste and confusion. But I take it as a double for Manson too
Manson was obsessed with the Beatles too.
As kids.. An Helter skelter was a big slide that came down in a big spiral..

Ren his lyrics pinned in the comments just in case you guys want to double check that you heard him correctly, especially when he goes into the faster flows. ❤
Thanks fam
Ren’s flow switches are absolutely amazing. He switches so many times in a 2 1/2 minute song.
10, TEN TIMES! Another, fun fact: did the math, he's spitting 3.1 words a second, including musical breaks.
Helter skelter is from Beatles third album (the White album) the double album came out in ‘68 …
Charles Manson and his “family”

Manson listened a lot to the Beatles White Album, which contained a track called Helter Skelter.
Your reactions to Ren are pretty boss coz you understand a lot of references that I see others miss. Also as a Hip Hop fan I dig anyone who knows the culture and it's roots. Respect.
Now check out the “I shot the sheriff” medley from his band The big push.
Yes, REN is also in a band.
🤯 I've probably watched 100 reactions to this song, & u r the 1st to put together the PIG from the Manson Family. Way to go!! Impressive!! 🤯
Love your insights into some of the references and rap history. You two are such good reactors because you're great company to watch these videos with.
He stitched all those flows, schemes, styles into a MONSTER of a song. A true Mad Scientist 🤣🥼
Helter Skelter is also a rap dou w Sean Price (R.I.P.) and another guy. They're pretty nice. Sean P killing every track.
❤ #Ren
Great reaction as alway's! 🔥🔥🔥
Today is MONEY GAME 3 PREMIERE AND THE MONEY GAME LIVE STREAM TO Find THE SUITCASE OF MOney

I thought of the Charles Manson Helter-Skelter reference when I first heard this too!! You are the only other reactor to catch it ❤. So awesome!
3:54 😂🤣 pickin up on your slang ❤
Thats because you know the shit its like yeah
Django Reinhardt - was badly burned in a fire and was told he would need an amputation. He refused surgery! and learned to walk with a cane against the odds. He was also told he would never play an instrument again. He retaught himself to play and mastered it. Becoming a music legend.

I like the moment when people realize Ren is beatboxing (at the end). It's a reminder he's doing so much more.
You guys are cooking.
Helter Skelter is also a song by The Beatles (the White Album).
Bro your breakdowns are awesome. Can't wait for money game 3 today

Hahaha, this was great! He snaps a bit on Ocean - it's like a "how to structure a progressive rap" clinic. You should check that one out.
Manson wrote Palisades Park. Helter Skelter was originally Beatles 1968.
You're the first reactors to pick up on the Manson connection that ive seen! It totally makes sense 👌😎

A little detail not many have caught, or at least mentioned, is Ren is beatboxing the backing track pretty much throughout
Manson was friends with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys, but Helter Skelter is a Beatles track off their "White Album", which Manson thought had hidden messages about a coming race war. Helter Skelter is a song of the Beatles. Manson's family wrote "Healter Skelter" with the blood of a victim on a wall.
Yes I realised I said beach boys not the Beatles 🤣 thanks fam
His inflection. ❤
Good catch on the Manson/Helter Skelter/PIG connections!
Awesome stuff guys, I actually learn stuff from you and with a smile on my face, who’d a thunk it, lol😎😃👍

A helter skelter is a slide common in the UK
Helter skelter the beatles!😊
The one with Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka was pretty dark I gotta say especially when they take the boat ride.
You guys are great. ❤❤❤
Thanks for reacting to this. Hope you liked it. Very hard core, right?
100k wtg team 🦉❤️🐊👍🙏
Let’s go!
Helter Skelter was a song written by The Beatles,
it had nothing to do with Manson except in his twisted mind. Manson knew the Beach Boys to steal musical instruments from and burn on dope deals.
Ello thinking of popping to america to visit where is best place to visit
That sh*t is dirty fire!
Check out Ocean by Ren and Eden Nash. Bit different vibe that you both will enjoy. Have a great day and better tomorrow.
Helter Skelter wrote by the Beatles Manson took inspiration from the song.
Everybody initially thinks they don't have an accent, trust me guys, you do. 😊 It's just we Brits hear way more of your voices than you do of ours so we understand you just fine. The cure? Listen to more UK music and TV. Ren's helping 😉
Oooooh guys did you do Coast Contra yet.? I would love to see your reaction. This artist wild tho.👍🏿
CERTIFIED PETRIFIED PLUTONIUM
This song reminds me a bit like "sirens" by Dizzee rascal which is definitely a song you should react to he's a London rapper and it's a great video aswell.
Willy wonka scheme he got chocolate barrs!!!😂
my man, not sure your name but you are the spitting image of the guy who played Ghostface on the Wu TV show 😂 (ps Ren is the truth)
Beatles originally did Helter Skelter song! Manson got it from them
Listen youngins - when an old head say "he can rappedi-rap" about someone, that someone can _rap_
Love it so much it so good
