Idk what happened to Esophagus, Inglorious Beings was their peak. They used to have their own memorable sound, style, vocals, songwriting. What is this? Feels like a joke.
Been waiting for this album since Steamrollin' first came out, safe to say, this new era, with Mr. SHREDDED WHEAT is different but this new era of ESOPHAGUS sounds fuckin killer!
This is good but sounds nothing like Esophagus. Almost sounds too commercialized by their standard. Probably intentional, I dunno. I will need a few more listen.
kik tone is not serving the song, snare has a nice brutal ping, but other drums are a weak, cymbals sound more like a bleed from the snare mix (too harsh and mono). guiatrs are fleshless and both EQ and tone-wise. overall low mids are destroyed.
@austinha11 heinous killings were the originators of the never used before predator vocals, the technique is sick when it isn't produced to sound like them by actually just doing them. Will never forget how badass that was to hear live way back in the day. Hope Joe is ok.
This ain't the Esophagus that i remember, it was simply just chuggier and the vox are way brutal back then Now it just sounds so generic like the new slam bands that keeps coming around
The band lost it’s identity when they lost Hugo.
Where the predator vocals at
26:35 sick
Hugo isn't on vocals anymore sadly.
@@jacensolo777 Oh damn. That's a shame.
I wish Taylor Swift would cover this song
Pretty sure he’s in a band named first degree murder. Predators!!!

I actually quite like this. The song writing is great, very groivey and like the waking the cadaver type vocals of slam vocals with tough guy barks

When you spend more on the cover art than production
it's fucking good

The last album was too dry i couldn’t get into it. But no hate though, all love for Esophagus. More slams, bruh.
Hello
The vocals started out excellent but there comes a minute when out of nowhere the vocalist makes a weird sound and really ruins the Slam Death Metal

Couple great moments, the fake predators tho just ain't heinous killings level tho, and his predators were raw
Lol his "predators."

@@joonaanterothere are plenty of slam bands who are produced correctly
@@corrupted_realm I dont care, its all about the groove for me
Huge step down from the satisfying raw sound on all 3 of their previous records
@@corrupted_realm like Atoll and Peelingflesh.
ohh, new Primate Vocals are great
Good Gutturals, Instrumentals are on point but those Beat down vocals aren't grabbing me. Overall🔥🔥🔥
The drums sound terrible
What do the trendy flame emojis mean?
@@austinha11 if i had to guess, i think its like 3/5 flames to rate the album
