Inside the Genelec Booth at Infocomm 2024

In conversations with the many visitors on the booth, it’s clear that networked audio is increasingly being deployed across AV projects, and the ability to create scalable full-range Smart IP loudspeaker systems powered via PoE has huge potential. All the Smart IP models were running live on the booth, controlled by a Crestron touch panel via Smart IP’s public API, and it was a joy to see the smiles that accompanied audio demos - with customers wide-eyed in amazement that PoE can produce such fidelity and staggering levels of SPL!

Minimalism in honor, but the sub looks as exciting as an air purifier.

@marcogee7503 If it were up to the interior designers there would be no subwoofers anywhere. This look is very unobtrusive which is what designers and architects want.
It might be hung in a ceiling in a retail store or mounted on a wall in a restaurant or on the floor in the corner of a conference room. So a little box makes a lot of sense.
