Over the years we have varied the way we make bait. Liquids first, blending the eggs with liquids first, powders first then eggs then liquid... basically every combination you can think of. When using a proper dough mixer there is no difference. This is quite an old video now and things have progressed dramatically since. New unit. New machinery. We use a separate powder mixer to blend the base mixes. Industrial dough mixer to mix the paste. That then goes in to an extruder and then through machines depending on the size we are rolling. We can produce around 80kg per hour with the present set up. We got in to Bait for ourselves. That soon became ourselves and our mates. Things just progressed from there and we decided to start selling via a website. We also supply a few lakes that feed our bait as their main food source. If we thought for 1 second that our paste wasn't mixed correctly or that we were sending out a sub standard product then, it wouldn't leave the unit. It's as simple as that. I would confidently put our bait up against anything currently available!
The liquids should be mixed first to ensure even distribution throughout the bait and the basemix added gradually to the mixer afterwards
