You can tell Larry you have progress so much in the past two years. Also it’s good to see you and Eddie having a good laugh. I know there were some attention during the boxing match with him and Thor.

@@KiiroSagi That was in 2015. You have to check Thor, Larry and Jujimufu Armwrestling session in 2019. Thor got a lot Stronger at Armwrestling. Not technique, but Brute Strength. You must see that video.
Most 3 year+ armwrestlers could beat Eddie, the takeaway here is Larry's improved form

Three years ago this probably would've been pretty even, goes to show that armwrestling is its own game.
It's a sport where proper training can overcome someone twice your size... As long as they aren't trained or not nearly as good. I've yet to have anyone beat me in my weight but I'm only like 150 trying to take down 200+ I may not win against the bigger guys a lot but man my arms keep growing 😂

@@Zigarius1123 I'm the same. I train with mostly people bigger than me, so when I finally go against someone my size I feel pretty comfortable. That's as long as they're not a pro of course. I'm still not quite at that level. Most normal people though, even if they're bigger, I can handle.

Hi Larry, i can well remember how you started with arm wrestling, since then you have improved a lot, meanwhile you can even keep up with top athletes and i am pretty sure if you train regularly you will surprise many in the future, you have them strength for it. For someone who started the sport so late, you're really successful. let's surprise everyone in the future, good luck my friend.

Great to see u guys squashed the beef (if there even was any). Beef and drama in the strength industry is really corny yet so common. Hope to see u 2 collab in the future now that u guys are both kind of straying away from the huge competitions like WSM. That one log press collab with him years ago was one of my favorite videos of all time, it was so inspiring to see 2 industry giants workout and talk like that.
A lot of people think it's just technique to beat the guys who are huge, but no they're actually also just stronger in the ways that matter most (I think Eddie already knows this, he's been around armwrestling for quite a long time and is friends with Neil Pickup of all people). Once you are stronger in specific ways, that then also allows you to disengage your larger opponent from their general strength. There's a lot more to it but yea. So you can be WAY stronger in a general sense, but still have no chance against someone much smaller and you won't even be able to access your strength to properly use against the other much smaller person. The straps do help, since that takes away a bit more of the hand stuff and allows one to just focus more on the arm power, but that won't save someone unless they know what they're doing (and there will still be strength limitations and a lot of other limitations other than technique).
well i think if eddie had the same knowledge he would have won ive been beaten by a kid who cant even hanmer curl half what i do its mostly skill
@@firehoming2101 - Against Larry? Larry ain't no chump. Sometimes certain people just have the gift more than others. Depends on so many factors even outside of technique. Even things like how Larry has a freakishly thick ummm... google says "opponens pollicis" lol. Making it hard for the opponent to get a proper grip around his hand.
Larry is super explosive, so if he could harness that in-time, that is extremely valuable.
Eddie is like, mega static-strength, so if that translated to armwrestling, that would be dope. The counter to that is power/explosivity.
They'd be very different pullers.

@@firehoming2101 - I don't remember what happened in this video, but if Eddie had Devon's brain in this video, he would obliterate Larry.
Larry in this video wouldn't even be able to access his own power. The set-up and strap would be REALLY disadvantageous for Larry, too, and that's before any pulling even occurs. Plus, working the refs, also talking/heatedly-arguing with Larry the whole time, including while pulling, etc. It's a lot to deal with Devon's brain lol.
Larry has gotten FAR better since over 3 years ago when he started, but yea. Takes elite athletes from other disciplines at least 3 years to really get going (which includes the powerlifters, strongmen, etc).
OH, adding to my first comment, then there's Eddie's biggest disadvantage (maybe), in that his size is so massive in a particular way, such that he physically can't get his elbow inside his shoulders. He can't crunch down into a powerful tight ball/unit. He has to leave his arm out to the side of his body, which is a much weaker position. It's a big problem for guys with massive lats and chests and whatnot.

I mean the reason Eddie was mad at Larry to begin with was pretty petty, anyway. Larry just looked at the situation and made an accurate prediction for Thor. Eddie maybe realized he was being a baby about it since.

Larry your looking more youthful. Your arm wrestling is improving leaps and bounds, awesome to see. The load off of the heavy lifts will help utilize your natural strength more. Take care.
I liked how Larry corrected Eddie's misconception that the smaller arm wrestlers they lose to cant be as strong as them. They can and are way stronger, on the table where it matters. Not in deadlift or bench press of course, but those hardly carry over to arm wrestling.
