- What an incredible lion mother manages to rear 4 kittens? They are now teenagers and are all looking real good. I never knew 4 kittens could survive to adulthood. This family may split up soon and the offspring will go their own way. How fortunate were we to catch them all still together!!!! Three of our cameras got glimpses of them

How many deer an elk do this family take down a week
Maybe one but not more. We have had lots of rain, lots of vegetation to eat. Lots of deer and elk live in the area. Nature is pretty good at keeping her balance. Plus, these cats will disburse and likely not all of them will make it. Many get killed on roads. What you see here is extremely rare
