This pieces, composed in 1795, were first written for orchestra (WoO 8) and then transcribed for piano (in catalogs as Hess 100). Even if they do not show Beethoven's most creative side, some features of these pieces foreshadow resources and ideas that later appeared in his symphonies. They were first performed in Vienna in 1795.
