I love the music in this game! But was anyone else kind of disapointed that they always used the same music for pretty much every battle until the last one?
Actually not really. I thought I would be but it actually grew on me back then, OMG, constantly grinding for hours and hearing that battle theme music 95% of the time. lol. I think it has something to do with the unique instruments used.
@@optimaltt6070 not possible. If anything, Citan could be Jin's descendants. But they aren't connected directly. Xenogears is pretty set in the distant future while Xenosaga is the beginning of the timeline.
Now this theme here definitely rounds out my favorite top 3 favorite themes in the soundtrack. This has a pretty awesome violin intro before becoming more upbeat and we hear vocals in the background. Love it!
I had to wait a few minutes when i got to the final boss just to soak in that there's a different battle theme. Right before i wasted it with my overpowered party.
I remember my first run through this game i got stuck on that big robot before albedo so i trained my guys to level 50 off the reapers and stomped the rest of the game
Playing through this entire game with only one battle music, then hitting this one... it just makes it sound all the more magnificent.
I'm thankful they didn't use the regular battle theme for the final boss fight as well haha. This was great!

Actually its funny you say that because I actually liked that they did that. i just didnt find the battle theme in X2 and X3 as catchy
@@lanisolfire5692 Um yeah, its not as catchy in X2 and X3 and its because the original composer wasn't part of the project. Too bad.

God, this music was absolutely stunning. I loved these games so much, but this was my favorite theme out of all of them.
This is very reminiscent of "The One Who Bares Fangs At God"

Agreed. Sophie Peithos is too slow to provide much of a challenge--all you have to do is avoid letting that one attack TPK you.
